44th Street Minar

Food comes fast, but leaves a lot to be desired. Their pav bhaji reminded me of my time in Mumbai and this is the only reason I ordered from Minar. However, based on the food I received tonight, I will not be ordering from here again.

The food here is very good - sag paneer and samosa for example - but what's with the $20 minimum on Seamless? I called over the phone and was able to order a regular meal for much less!

The food here is ok. Good for the price I would say, but the service is just really kinda awful. I'm pretty forgiving about a lot of things, but I've ordered from this place about 5 times and 3 of times were very unsatisfactory. Once my food was just cold and I had to heat it up in my oven(which took time and I was REALLY hungry). And 2 other times I got attitude from their delivery guy. I've ordered from tons of restaurants in this neighborhood and I've never had a delivery man to tell me not to order from them after a certain time in the evening because of the distance. I'm kinda done with this place. I barely write reviews but after my last transaction I had to say something.

Food is good but delivery estimates are way off. Said 15-30 minutes and food arrived after an hour and 15 minutes.

Never again. Food took over an hour to get here and was cold. Delivery person called me from the lobby even though room was provided. Food was bland and boring anyway.

40 minutes longer than the longer estimated delivery (estimated 15-30, actual hour and 10). Food was cold and gross, would never order from here again.

Food has become really horrible here. I ordered a chicken kathi roll and it was cold even though i picked up the order on time. The meat was never warmed and tasted like crap. I used to really like this place because the food was excellent but wont touch it with a 10 foot pole any more.

They are usually pretty good, but my last order arrived smelling burnt - like the whole bottom of the pot of makani had been burnt crusty but they served the top anyway.

Stay away from this restaurant. They are cheaters. They do not provide a receipt for the food ordered, deliver only part of the order after charging you for the full amount, deliver spoiled and leftover food. Very poor quality and extremely bad business practices....a big scam. Stay away!!

The food was tasty and fresh unlike a lot of other places. I ordered the hummus, samosas and the chicken tikka masala all of which were excellent. Great value for money and fast service. -SJ

Bland biriyani with very little meat, all attached to bones. Also, it seems like there are more empty bones in my rice than attached meat! Avoid this unless you're a dog and enjoy gnawing on bones.

Not really authentic attempt to south Indian food. Iddly were rubbery, samwer was somewhat bland and we only received one dipping sauce.
