A Asosan Sushi

I love sushi and order a few times a week! I've had great experience with A Asosan Sushi. They have really good/fresh rolls! One of my favorite sushi places in Upper East Side.

The food was decent. Sushi and sashimi okay. The bad rating is about the delivery. Our company orders from Seamless and gets delivery all day and night. You have delivery person call and we come downstair to pickup. This delivery person did this, however, when I went downstair, he was outside the building having his cigarette. All delivery person wait inside for the customer to come down to pickup their food. He did not want to come in even seeing me waiting. He finished up his cigarette and made it inside the door. Pointed paper to confirm if I was the person on the order printout. He said nothing else while I said "yes" and "thank you". He was mean and rude. I feel like I causing him trouble by ordering food from here. I mean I'm not expecting much from a delivery person, but be treated this way .. don't know if I really should be ordering from here again .. so perhaps he can be happy not doing work?!?

Rice was good, spicy sushi rolls contained minuscule amounts of mashed up fish that all tasted the same. Quality has gone downhill over the last few months.

Worst sushi I've ever had. Ordered the $15 lobster roll and the salmon caviar for lunch. Lobster roll had NO flavor and poorly rolled, and the salmon caviar was far from fresh, dried up and stuck together. You couldn't pay me to eat here again. Disgusted.

Tiny hamachi sashimi portion. Really tiny and mediocre quality. Ginger dressing was too sweet. Hamachi Kama was overcooked. Eel sushi was good.

The lunch special is such a good deal. it came with rolls, miso soup, and a salad for just a few bucks. Also sushi is some of the best i've had. definitely worth the price.

Excellent tempura; teriyaki beef, salmon, and chicken; soup and salads. My friend asked for extra teriyaki sauce which was a great idea. We didn't try any sushi or sashimi, but everything we had was very fresh and flavorful.

rice on sushi was chewy/hard. spicy scallop roll was fishy but ca roll was decent. vegetable gyoza was ok except periphery of the casing was hard. usually slightly better than average but today was below average. guess that's christmas for you!

Delicious sushi and in extremely good quality, especially when considering it is take out. Delivery was quicker than stated. Very happy and have already re-ordered at this place.

Horrible sushi. Absolutely no vinegar seasoning on the rice and the fish was not fresh at all. I would not order from them again.

Nice and fresh. The salmon tataki was great. Definitely a new Seamless favorite for sushi.
