A Spice Route (Formerly Tandoor Palace II)

Just moved to the neighborhood and I'm so glad that I found my go to indian spot. Delivery is fast and the food is consistently good. The naan here is particularly good and I'm a big fan of their papadam as a crunchy side. The saag paneer could use a bit more spice to it. Chicken tikka masala is always delicious! If you have time, go in person to get a better price and take advantage of some of their plate offers which are only available in the restaurant.

The food is ok. But they are consistently late in their delivery. And then expect people to go down and wait outside the office for the delivery guy to turn up without a time frame in mind! Why would someone order on seamlessweb if the delivery does not take place within the scheduled time. Quite uprofessional. Try some of the other Indian restaurants like Baluchis or Salaam Bombay and give Spice Route a pass.

Worst Indian I have ever had. Ordered spicy - arrived completely flavorless. Pickle was inedible. Rice was cold. "Salad" consisted of a few wilted pieces of iceberg lettuce and a handful of coarsely sliced onions squashed into a little tinfoil packet. Disgusting. Will never order from Spice Route again.

I would stay away from the Navrattan Korma. It is one of my favorite dishes from Indian restaurants, however, when I ordered it from A Spice Route, there was one small piece of cauliflower, one small chunk of potato, and then the rest was peas and carrots. The also had the taste of frozen vegetables. Only giving it 3 starts instead of 2 because my co-worked was happy with her portion of the order.

Delicious food. Decent portions. Inexpensive. Delivered within the estimated time frame. Plesant staff. Lamb saag and samosa are my favorites. I refuse to order anything else :) ... my colleagues recommend the chicken vandaloo, baingain bhartha and the naan. Hopefully, we will all come out of our comfort zones and try A Spice Route's other dishes.

Ordered from Spice Route for the first time last night using the 20% discount code. I was very pleased and will order from them again. First of all, their prices are good, and with the discount, downright cheap. The food was good. Not as spicy and flavorful as I usually like my Indian food, but perfectly fine and sated my Indian food craving. To be fair, they ask if you want the dish mild, medium or spicy. Not knowing the restuarant, I chose medium. But maybe it'll be better if I choose spicy next time. The chicken tikka masala had good cuts of white meat. I also like that the menu gives you the option to choose white meat only in chicken dishes for $1 extra. Delivery was on time and the guy was nice.

Hate the place. Their order was more than 1 hour late from what they told was the time of delivery. They are rude, do not listen to you, and refused to cancel the order. Order only if you are ok with loosing money.
