AA Ichiban

Ichiban is great and I order all the time, but they are not delivering from their 7th avenue location. It is gated shut. Our order was late and we tried to call but got a busy signal over and over. Since we're right across the street so I ventured out to find my food—but it was obviously coming from somewhere else because it arrived while I was out. Annoying for me, but I'm guessing this won't happen to most people.

Consistently delicious. Friendly, speedy delivery. They've told us that their chef goes to the fish market every morning. I believe them! Not only is the fish is fresh and delicious, but I'm sure they need to restock every day with the number of loyal customers they have. :)

Apparently the restaurant didn't update its system and their tip scale was wrong on the printout(what the seamless people told me) so the delivery man asking for more tip literally FORCED his way into my apartment and wouldn't let me close the door. Hard enough for anyone but especially for someone on crutches which I am. Two seconds away from calling the police

Delivery can be a little slow sometimes but it's worth it for the food. Occasionally the food is a little less than hot (only when the delivery is late). Even lukewarm, the food is delicious. I love the rocky roll and the gyoza.

First off, the phone number listed in seamless does not get picked up - they list 2 numbers on their website and choose not to answer the one listed on seamless. Order was listed as going to take 15-30 minutes; didn't get confirmation for 30 minutes, then took another 45 minutes to actually get the food. its NYC, there are countless other sushi restaurants around and i would recommend pretty much anyone of them over this place. I know these reviews are a waste of time but i'm still hoping the restaurant might read it and realize how BAD their service is, or even better, other people will read this and will make smarter choices by choosing OTHER restaurants.

No stars. Food is not eatable. Vegetarian Bento Box smells and tastes funny. Sauce is congealed on Eggplant. Chicken Noodles smell awful and my husband won't even taste them. Almost forgot- delivery took 1hr despite 30 min estimate. So much for trying to diversifying our repertoire.

I called the restaurant a half hour after the estimated delivery time had past and they were very apologetic. They said the delivery guy had left about 15 minutes ago and would be there any minute, however, the food didn't get there for another half hour so they obviously lied. On top of this, when it arrived my sushi was warm, and my soup and edamame were luke warm. I wouldn't order from here again. If you want to wait an hour and a half for mediocre food give it a try.
