Abitino's Pizza & Italian Kitchen (50th/2nd)

The best Chicken Francese ever. I order it with linguine and the sauce is so lemony and delicious. The chicken is dipped in flower and egg and sauteed in butter and lemon. It is to die for. I order it all the time and it never disappoints. It comes with a side of warm bread roll to dip the sauce. Also, their meatballs and marinara are amazing. The pizza is also awesome. Just a really good delicious food. However, the guy at the register and he always picks up the phone is very rude.

Hair baked into the cheese!!! Eww Eww I usually order from Abitino's once every two weeks because i do it for pick-up and grab it on my way home from work. Tonight was a bad experience. The manager (who rocks the abitino's embroidered newsboy cap) always pretends like i'm not standing there to pick up my food. As i stand there twiddling my thumbs for 3-5 minutes, he acts like "oh, i didn't see you there". I take my food and go. Tonight, we ordered a pizza bianca with spinach and chicken and a salad. When opening the pizza, no chicken. We got past it (although it cost an extra $3) and started to eat. About 3/4 of the way through dinner, my wife noticed a hair on her slice. She though it was hers but when trying to pull it off, it was baked into the cheese on the pizza. When calling the restaurant to complain, i explained that the chicken wasn't on the pie and there was a hair in the cheese, the manager couldn't get past the chicken part. He told me to call his boss, "umm, Sal, call Sal, he'll be here tomorrow from 10am to 2pm, he'll issue you a credit". Not waiting for Sal, Seamless credited my pizza after she called the same idiot. I now need to find a new spot on my walk home to grab some slices.

I was a little disappointed in some of the food that I ordered, but what do you expect when you order wings from an Italian place. They weren't terrible, but I've definitely had better. Other than that, the pizza was good, and it came pretty quickly. Satisfied for the most part.

This place is bangin...straight up twice a week, three times on holidays...i order a Zone and some penne vodka. Service is whatev, but this food can bang with the best Italian joints in the world. This place is global. Love it

The delivery man did not have any identification on him, so security would not let him enter the building. Then, when we went down to get him, he refused to help bring up the pizzas because he had "other deliveries". How is that OUR problem!?!?!?! Worst service.

Really good food - try the chicken abitino - and reasonably quick delivery. But they always forget the extra sauce.

The chicken Marsala with penne is not what it used to be. It's just two slices of chicken with some kind of mushroom sauce poured over, and the penne does not have tomato sauce as would be expected. I've been ordering from Abitino's for years, but haven't had this for a long time, and this used to be real chicken Marsala. Not this.

The food came an hour and a half after the estimated time even after I was told twice it was "on its way". It's also hard to make a bad pizza, but this one bordered on horrible.

PIzza is deteriorating, with reheated pies being delivered and crust no better than supermarket frozen pizza.

I ordered a sicilian pizza and french fries from Abitino's on 50th and 2nd. Delivery was quick, but looked and tasted like the pie was sitting for hours. French fries were soggy, but could be because they were hot when put into a to-go container and absorbed the moisture. Abitino's on 8th ave was so much better!
