Afghan Kabob House (VA)

The boneless chicken kabob is excellent, it also comes with good yellow rice and chickpeas. They deliver quickly, as well.

Get the kabobs only if you REALLY like lots of meat. Tried 4 kabobs and only one was tasty, the spicy ground chicken. Veggie kabob was very disappointing. Bad selection of veggies. Rice was good, and naan was good but only if you eat it right away; goes stale quickly. Baklava was horrible, inedible.

I have to say that my experiencing started off very bad. It was obvious that when the food was delivered the driver had accidentally dropped it. When I called the restaurant to bring this to their attention they were very responsive and receptive. The manager not only credited back the money they quickly redelivered the order. The food was excellent! I had a boneless chicken kabob and it was moist and delicious. I had a side of spinach and it wasn't oily and runny like I feared it would be. The hummus was great too - not too garbanzo-y. By the way, with the reorder they were kind enough to send the baklava and that was to die for as well. Definitely will order again.

There are lots of Kabob places around and I have to admit that I find it hard to always tell the difference between all the various spices and meats, but I can tell you that I love the cauliflower here and so this is why I go back.

The chicken kabobs are amazing and the chickpeas are fantastic. They usually take more than 30 mins for delivery, but I order from them about once a week.

FAST delivery, good food. Kabob were ok, but chick peas, spinach and rice were good. Could be better. I'll try them again.

The lamb kabob was very good -- a bit spicy, but not too spicy. The hummus tasted a little funny to me, but I've not had a lot of hummus, so perhaps this kind was made differently. All the food was hot -- which I find impressive because I believe the restaurant is fairly far from my house!

I love kabob places, but AKH is the first I've found that delivers, and that alone puts it near the top of the list for me. The food was much better than average, although the spinach wasn't a flavorful as I've had at other places, the chick peas were extraordinary. My only disappointment was that they were out of the ground lamb kabob, but the ground beef was very good. Delivery was very fast, and cost vs volume and taste made it an enjoyable meal. I am definitely ordering from AKH again.
