Aki Sushi (52nd Street)

The sushi isn't horrible, but it isn't that good either. Their delivery time said 15-30 minutes and it took them an hour to deliver my lunch.

Bottom line, their sushi made me ill so beware. Delivery took 45 minutes longer than promised, had to call 3 times to get my food. When I finally got my sushi, it was warm and bad. I ate half of a roll before throwing the order out, and got sick 20 minutes later.

First time ordering from this restaurant-- my food was on time (maybe people having issues should order ahead and pick a time?) and they included low sodium soy sauce as asked! The 2 roll lunch special with salad and miso soup is a great deal. My sushi was fresh and the salad was the perfect amount. Will order from again!

Aki is the best sushi I have ever had by delivery--ever....if you can't make it to Sushi Yasuda, you will be quite happy with the quality of the sushi at Aki. And they have never messed up an order.

Edamame was extremely undercooked and many pieces were turning black. The sushi was inedible - yellowtail tasted like it was in the heat for a day, and the tuna was brown. I ended up just throwing it out even though I'm really hungry.

Left out about 15% of the order. No soy sauce or chop sticks with sushi order. Got one packet the time before with 4 rolls. For some reason I have ordered from here multiple times and they always screw up something.

They would get more stars for the food, but their delivery has been a problem , with well over an hour on the several occasions we ordered there. This is the last time I order from Aki Sushi, I prefer a restaurant that indicates longer delivery time, and actually respects it.
