Akita Sushi

HORRENOUS. I live one block away from this place and it took over an hour to be delivered. Then once it FINALLY arrived, I sat down to eat and realized they forgot to put the SUSHI in the bag. Absolutely horrible experience, I will never order again

food was mediocre at best. sushi was warm even though I ordered no cooked rolls. Took close to an hour and a half to arrive with no apologies. Delivery guy didn't even answer me when I asked who it was over the intercom. I had to climb on my window to see who was downstairs.

we were picking bones out every piece of the eel roll (as they were stabbing the inside of our cheeks). I called to alert the chef, and they said "ok, thank you." Didn't seem to "make things right" or apologize. We tossed the rest of our order. We used to go to Akita a few times a month. We wont be going/ordering anymore.

divine, fresh sushi, triple bonus is AKITA offers option of brown rice instead of white-always my choice to health it up. I usually order rock shrimp, edamame and sushi rolls, always good and delivery is prompt and service is nice -don't miss out!

Decent sushi at a decent price. The spicy tuna roll was quite good, and I love that you can add spicy mayo to your order-- it's so good with sushi! The gyoza weren't the best I've had, but they were still satisfying. Delivery was also prompt and there were no mistakes in the order.

Always good and great for the price! For the quality and the decent prices, Akita is always my go-to place when I want sushi.

For the price, Akita is fantastic. They're not going to blow you away with many of their dishes (except the spicy scallop roll!) but they're not going to leave you hungry either. Definitely worth a try.

This is my go-to sushi place! the price is right and the sushi is good. I usually just order the regular rolls rather than the special ones because they are so good and simple. I love a sushi place whose basic rolls are as delicious as the fancy ones. ALSO: when they say extra ginger, they mean extra ginger. And I can really appreciate that.

Great sushi, fast delivery. My only complaint is that they used a little too much rice in the sushi rolls. Other than that, my meal was delicious. I'd order from Akita again.

Great food, the rolls are excellent. The fish is fresh and the delivery is fast. If you live above 96th Street and want good sushi that delievers, I highly recommend this place.

I took a chance on Akita because I'd never eaten there or even walked by before but figured if it had won a Seamless Web Reader award it was probably ok and I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually quite good. Since then I've ordered a few more times with co-workers who were happy with their orders. The sushi tastes fresh, portions are adequate, and delivery is prompt. I've had rolls, nigiri sushi and the shrimp shumai. My co-worker likes her chirashi.

Fast delivery. I order from these guys a LOT, and was super happy to see them on Seamless Web. Their sweet potato rolls and other vegetarian sushi options are AWESOME!
