Alfanoose Middle Eastern Cuisine

Just moved back from living in the Middle East for two years...this place is legit. The mujadara is pretty incredible.

This was my first and last order from Alfanoose. I ordered the Kofta kabob and it was bone dry and smelled/tasted "gamey" - my guess was it was reheated (poorly) when I ordered it. There are tons of places to get a kabob downtown and most for far less money - this was the worst I've had. The sides were fine: hummus and mujadara. I ordered a side of labneh as well and it was somewhat refreshing but didn't do much for me. The 2 pieces of baklava were OK, but unprofessionally wrapped in foil, like my mom put it in my lunchbox. Needless to say, I will not be ordered from here again.

As someone that could eat Middle Eastern food for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner this place stands out as one of the tops on my list to get Middle Eastern cuisine!!!! Excellent Smokey Babaganush just the way I like it... The Falafel is more baked and fried and has a great cinnamon and nutmeg flavor to it making it very traditional. I got the sandwich with baba and it does have some sort of spicy sauce that was not too overpowering!!! The kafta kabob was tender and not greasy and had a nice hint of lemon and again also was prepared with either cinnamon and nutmeg. Delicious!!! We also had a spinach pie and meat pie and while they both were a little too much dogh they were still very traditional and again delicious! I LOVED THIS PLACE will order again!!!!

DON'T ORDER FROM HERE! Estimated delivery time was 15-30min but 45 minutes later, Alfanoose had not confirmed the order and we could never get through the listed telephone number to either get an update or cancel the order. BOTTOM LINE: We never received any food or any explanation. I had to call SeamlessWeb's customer service line and be on hold for 20 minutes to credit my account. Order from somewhere else!! I wish I could give them 0 stars.

Abso love the food here. Have never been disappointed. Even family from the Middle East loved the food given its authenticity and freshness. If I could I'd order dinner from here every night.

Chicken Shawarma Sandwich is a flavourfest and the fallafel balls are addictive. I order from seemlessweb (sadly) three or four times a week and one of them is always from the Alfanoose despite all the other great options.

I used to enjoy ordering from Alfanoose. The food is delicious. However, tonight the delivery took over an hour and when I recived the food it was all shaken up and all over the place. Tastes good but is a waste of my time.

A2. Chicken Shawarma Sandwich - It came cold, it's a small little thing and it's not fresh. It tastes horrible.. Not to mention that the order came with no napkins which I'd totally ignore if the food was eatable. WTF... NEVER AGAIN!!

I normally don't bother to leave reviews, but given the fact that I spent $18 on lunch that came cold and tasted disgusting, I felt inclined to write something. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was super dry, had no flavour at all and they didn't even put tahini sauce on it. The rice was bland and the pita was cold as if it just came out of the fridge and the hummus was just NOT that good. I was SUPER disappointed in this place and would never ever buy from them again nor would I recommend to anyone!! Just wasted my $$$$...

The meat was as tough as leather - and nothing like good lamb shawarma. Food was also pretty cold. And the baklava was literally a small bite. The delivery was actually pretty fast - but no point getting a really quick delivery of really crappy food.
