Alphabet Cafe

The service is decent enough and the food isn't bad. Unfortunately, Alphabet Cafe doesn't pay much attention to your requests. I ordered an omelet with cheese and no potatoes and received an omelet with no cheese and with potatoes. Probably won't order from here again, since they can't get your order right.

My dine-in experience was better food-wise. I ordered the same kind of omelette as I had when I dined in, but it was a completely different creature. Barely scrambled, so the omelette had large blotches of yolk and egg white -- ick! The bacon was barely cooked in places, too. But like I said, when I ate in the cafe a few days ago I enjoyed the quick service and the food was good.

Normally pretty decent. My last order was just a salad with an estimated wait time of 30 minutes. Since it was snowing, I gave the place a hour to deliver until I called wondering what was going on. When I called, I was given the general excuse "it's on the way." Half hour later, when it has taken a full hour and a half to deliver 1 salad, 4 blocks away, I called to cancel. The guy answering the phone told me it was on the way and I'm apparently not allowed to cancel my order and must take the food whenever it arrives. Um- what?? Really a shame because I ordered from this place a lot but that little interaction has pretty much ensured I won't be ordering from them again.

The order was incorrectly placed and had to have a discussion with the management trying to prove that I was actually given the wrong salad. Finally, they sent me the dressing on the side - and still I just had to accept the order was wrong and the salad was not nearly prepared to how I expected it...how do you mess up a salad?? :)

worst seamless web experience i've ever had. It took them nearly two hours to deliver two bagels. Seriously. Two untoasted bagels. Slice two bagels in half, smear on some cream cheese, walk two blocks...TWO HOURS. When I called to check on my order after, i dunno, an hour I was met with a rude-ass manager telling me it was my fault for ordering on seamless web and to take my time. Until i told him i wanted to cancel my order, that is. Then he told me it would be 5 minutes. It was another hour. And the icing on the cake, our order was wrong. Order from somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE.

Grilled chicken sandwich is great. Quality chicken, nicely grilled, not greasy, and always exactly as I order. The chicken kebab over rice is dry and bland. They always deliver quickly, have decent prices, and the food isn't greasy.

I order from here frequently, and the veggie egg-white omelette, add ham and cheddar, hits the spot as usual. With the side of potatoes and whole-wheat toast, this is usually enough food to keep me filled up for several hours on a Saturday or Sunday. The overall food quality is solid, but nothing spectacular. I have yet to eat-in, so I am unaware of the service quality, but my room mate says it is friendly and helpful.

Good food that arrived faster than I expected. I never went into this place because the older look of the building kept me away. Ordering delivery circumvented my hesitations. Omelet arrived hot and in tact. There bacon is delicious. Coffee is okay.

The coffee is really good, and so it the fried platter. I wouldn't order a sandwich from here again. They used cheap lunch meat.
