Aquamarine

We've been ordering from Aquamarine for years but never again. Seems there is new management and the food is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. What a bummer.

this has to be one of the BEST japanese restaurants i've ever eaten at. their sushi is extremely fresh, their thai dishes are delicious (try the seafood curry, it's phenomenal), the yaki eggplant is an appetizer that's so fulfilling that it could be ordered as an entree. or try the vermiccelli or pinapple fried rice (if you go to the restaurant it's served in an actual pinapple skin). The food from aquamarine is good ordered or at the restaurant. the decor is very chic, they have a koi pond under the stone wall water fountain in the back. and the cucumber lychee tinis (served with an actual lychee) are just as delicious as the food, it's a perfect pair. for the quality and ambience, the price is just right. i'm so happy that this restaurant opened in my neighborhood, it would never be the same without it.

This restaurant used to be very good but it has been sold to new owners. The management is new and even the menu is completely different. The food is terrible and the fish is not fresh.

It took an hour and a half for my order to come and when I called to ask where my food was after an hour, they simply said my food was on its way in 10 minutes....terrible customer service. I won't order from here again unless I'm not very hungry.

Ordered due to high star rating but the food is not good! Very disappointed especially when there are so many great Japanese options. The Tom Yum soup vegetarian came with zero vegetables, just bean sprouts. The sushi was just ok and the malaysian rice flat noodles was flavorless.

I ordered the sushi and sashimi lunch special- not only did it take almost an hour to come but the fish was awful and the miso soup was salty and cold!! The tuna, salmon and yellow tail pieces are extremely thin and the rice fell apart. Not quality sushi and it's overpriced. Absolutely will not be ordering from here again.
