Ariana Kabab Restaurant

This is a wonderful restaurant. I often take friends there, because the atmosphere is so intimate and quiet with just the right amount of atmosphere, the owner and waiters are friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious, seasoned to perfection and healthy. My favorite is the vegetarian combo (love the okra), and the pumpkin curry is a must. The cardamom tea has fresh cardamom. As for ordering through Seamless, it does seem that I get more rice and less of the other items than I do when I eat in the restaurant. However, first, it looks like less because the delivery container is larger than the plate (and they fill the extra space with rice), and second, they give you salad, homemade dressing and bread to go with the combo, so it's still a good deal.

I love Ariana!s chicken and lamb shish kebab plates. The meat is so nicely seasoned with herbs and the rice is cooked to perfection. With the addition of the white sauce these make a delicious meal. The portions are more than generous enough. They have fast! Prompt delivery too! No waiting around forever for your food when you're hungry. We order from here at least once a week!

After working in the restaurant industry for over a decade, I've developed a keen sense for noticing the small details that make so few restaurants exceptional. Ariana Kebab is one of those exceptional restaurants. From the amazingly hospitable owner who will greet you upon entry when dining-in, to the quality and timeliness of the delivery experience, this place delivers a food experience that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else. The establishment is small and rather simple, though charming and intimate. But the star of the show is the food, both for its uniqueness and quality. I'd guess that most people are unfamiliar with Persian cuisine, and are especially unfamiliar with Persian food of this quality.... giving this place the distinct capacity to deliver one of those ah-ha food moments, where you encounter unparalleled quality through flavors that are curious and unfamiliar.

I ate at Ariana a few weeks ago for lunch and the food was excellent. I decided to order from the restaurant and my experience was very different. The meal was actually terrible. I had the Lamb Kublai Palau. The portions of lamb were tiny, it was over cooked, the sauce was runny, the salad was dried out and hot. The salad dressing tasted a bit rancid. I was so disappointed that I called the restaurant to complain. The manager told me that they've been doing it the same way for over 20 years. I really didn't think this was a satisfactory response. I will not be ordering from or visting this restaurant again.

Smallest portion sizes on Seamless... I have never written a review about a restaurant, but felt compelled after ordering from this restaurant. My $14 order of Chicken Kebab came with 4 cubes of diced chicken. Absolutely ridiculous. Apparently, their goal is to fill you up on the pound of dry rice they pack. Hopefully SeamlessWeb will reconsider even listing this menu. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Great for vegetarians. Their pumpkin curry is absolutely addictive. And I love the vegetarian combos. Its great that all their entrees come with a salad so you don't have to spend extra money on that. Delivery is speedy too.

food decent but per the other reviews portions are insanely small and meal is almost all rice. too bad b/c it has potential but they definitely are taking advantage of their customers who order out and can't complain about how pathetic the protein portion of the meal appears. this too is my first review...portions are really that bad esp. for the price.

The order took over an hour to deliver although their email said 15 - 30 minutes. The food was very average. I will not order from there again.
