Aroma Espresso Bar (Greene St.)

I usually love Aroma, but I just cannot ignore the level of incompetence they displayed with my most recent order. I ordered an omelette and oatmeal with berries and bannans. A simple order. Somehow thy managed to screw it all up. I got scrambled eggs, which were cold, and plain oatmeal. No sign of any fruit. And I had to pay extra for the non-existant fruit. I think I'm done with Aroma. Get your act together.

Just ordered 15 individual coffee drinks for my office, each with specific requests, and asked them to label each with the person's name. Aroma nailed it! The order came faster than I expected given the number of drinks we ordered, every drink was correct, and the sweets we ordered along with it were really fantastic. Will definitely do this again!

Food is good only when hott. I live three blocks away. It took them four tries to get a simple egg sandwich right. Aroma is a bit over-priced for the bad service with bad management and poor food.

the order took 1 hour to deliver, they forgot a part of the order, and it took 1 hour to come back with the rest of the order

The food is good but I swear that they have a bunch of idiots working there. They mess up the order every single time. How hard is it to read an order. I don't get it.

Very tasty items on this menu. I specifically recommend the portobello sandwich, BUT don't be surprised if they forget your cheese.... they overlooked the fact that I paid for cheese on my sandwich.

Let's see. We have a $22 lunch order. No cutlery. No salt and pepper. No dressing for the salad that has about two beets on it. And I have my doubts the soup is not from a can. This is what ticks me off about NYC. Places charging high prices and not bothering to have the follow through to match. Lame. But the delivery guy is awesome and a sweetheart and had to fix all the problems.

Best thing about this place is the bread - tastes so soft and fresh. I would rate this place higher, however, they have a very limited menu. This isn't necessarily a negative if the selection was of higher quality. The best sandwich is the turkey BLT. The other sandwiches are just average. Also, if you order the soup, you will have to call the restaurant to find out the soup of the day (unless you don't care), which kind of defeats the purpose of using seamless web.
