Aroma Espresso Bar (Midtown)

Kudos to Aroma - the food arrived beautifully packaged (french toast had separate dividers for toast, fruit, and cups of syrup and the maple butter) and was delicious!!

The food is actually pretty decent, when they bother to get your order right, include dressing, or actually deliver it. Aroma is a decent place if you live in the West Village. This location just is just awful. We've ordered from this place several times putting up with all sorts of lateness, mistakes, general sloppiness because we like the salads. This evening was the last straw. Order from this place at your own peril, its like Russian roulette. We waited by the phone for 40 minutes before giving up only to have these bozos THEN try and call us. The one on Houston is pretty decent this one is really terrible. I'll never ever ever order from this place again and I will work tirelessly to make sure that no one from NYU medical center does either.

Nothing but good things to say about Aroma. I like them a ton in person amd am so happy their delivery service holds up to that standard! Great coffee- strong but still smooth. AMAZING almond croissant. (Seriously- it makes bad mornings melt away.) I LOVE the sweet potato and lentil salad- plus it holds up well in the fridge in case I don't have time for lunch and have to eat it the next day. Finally- they deliver everything SO nicely! Great packaging, little coffee cup caddy, individually prepped zipper baggies filled w/ everything you need: coffee stirrer, different sugars, chocolate square, salt 'n pepper, napkins, utensils. They have you COVERED for a comfortable lunch- even if you can't leave your desk! <3

The food at Aroma tastes so fresh. It is healthful, inventive and really tasty. The only downfall is how expensive most menu items are. But overall, this is one of my favorite places for coffee and and a meal. Really solid work.

decent for certain things (like coffee)., but i dont think they're delivery service or customer service could be worse. our delivery was over an hour late (i.e. took about 1.5 hours) and not only did we not receive a phone call, but when we did call them , they were unsympathetic and rude. the place itself is ok, but the management needs to go. I am a restaurant owner and I would fire everyone if my restaurants service was this bad. Unfortunately this will be our last order. Au Revoir, aroma!

DREADFUL. The order took over an hour and a half to deliver. The eggs were cold, they delivered the wrong coffee which was also cold, half the order was missing. When I say cold I don't mean luke warm I mean stone cold. Total waste of money.

Delivery late, food cold and drink was half spilled. They told me they'd refund me but won't respond now. Also, the mocha was disgusting- tasted like plastic.

Very pleased with my order. The bread was super fresh, the croissant was excellent, chai latte didn't taste like a chai latte and salad was watery but over all I was pleased. Portions were excellent and loved the eggs.

do they taste their own sandwiches? horrible... flavor combinations that do not work. period. ive had the avacado sandwich and the portobello sandwich. honestly the worst place that my employer orders from. salads are ok.
