Artichoke Basille's Pizza (14th Street)

I like an artichoke slice once in a while and I also like their margherita too. But Im tired of their delivery service being so bad...it's pathetic!!! I would've rated the pizzas 4 stars but the service Is bad enough it pulls a whole star from the pleasure of eating it.

placed a future order since i was getting three pies. order was within 10 minutes of desired time. -1 star for the pizzas being slightly overcooked and toppings on the sicilian not really being on the pizza anymore. delivering hot pizza can't be easy though.

Pizza is great- service is beyond awful. They hang up on you, don't answer the phone etc... My recommendation is to go somewhere else. Not worth it.

I think the Artichoke is awesome....they can take long to deliver and have forgot drinks in my order but still love the pizza....kinda pricey but its a bit slice....20 dollar min is lame too

I have ordered here a number of times. The pizza is often burnt and typically will not show up for hours. One time I called after waiting an hour and, after battling with the blaring music in the background, was told that the delivery times were c. 2 hours and that I should have picked it up if I didn't want to wait. In short, subpar pizza (especially compared to other artichoke locations) and terrible service makes this a place to avoid.

My favorite pizza in the whole city! I am in love with the margarita...perfectly burned crust and homemade taste. Yum. I recommend ordering from Artichoke if you aren't starving and looking to eat immediately because sometimes the delivery takes a while, but it's totally worth the wait!

The Sicilian and the Margherita were fine, serviceable pizzas. Nicely parmed and beautifully basil-ed. But let’s be honest. The Vodka and Artichoke pizzas are the stars of this show. The Vodka was square-cut and positively loaded with rich, peppery vodka sauce. Original, yet not outrageous. This one will haunt you. Very tasty. The Artichoke pizza is what the hipsters queue up on 14th Street for. Basically the artichoke dip your parents served at bridge parties, but somehow so much more. The crust is best described as significant. A slice is as big as a horse’s head, and twice as weighty. Worth the buzz. And the garlic breath. I never would’ve expected to get this delivered to me from 80 blocks away, but there it was, expectedly in need of a bit of warming, but well within the promised delivery time. And the best part: No standing in long lines listening to people in silly hats talk about “the direction I wanna take the band.”

Pizza is great but staff isn't quite as exceptional. Delivery boy had the nerve to complain about his tip after he took nearly 2 hours to make the delivery of ONE lukewarm pie.

pizza is amazing... delivery man is awful... he is always late - this time by over an hour (2.5 hour delivery time)... one time he asked me on a $26 order if I could give him a few more dollars (in addition to my $3.50 tip) because they had two people delivering (a driver and him)... I order seamless daily and never have been asked for an additional tip - incredibly unprofessional

The pizza hasn't been delivered in over 2 hours. Now the place is closed and we can't reach them either. This place shouldn't accept orders on seamless when they cannot deliver.

Even though they sold out, the pizza is still good... but not good enough to eat it cold after a 2 1/2 hour wait.

We were quoted 120-135min. Called to cancel 20min after confirmation. They said it was already out the door for delivery. 2 hours later. Still no pizza. Seems not only way too long but dis-honest and unprofessional.

Food came cold and artichoke was crushed and spilt all over the pizza box. Took an hour and half for the meal to also be delivered. Very poor service.
