Artie's Delicatessen

Artie's appears expensive, but the food is good, consistent and abundant; so in the end, it does provide value. I recommend ordering a couple extra slices of rye to handle sandwich overflow.

I consider myself personally responsible for Artie's joining Seamless Web--they finally joined not too long ago after I kept submitting their name as a suggestion. It's one of the few remaining old-fashioned Jewish delis in the city, and the most ordered item, the pastrami sandwich, is sublime. Don't even think about ordering it on anything but rye bread, with mustard on the side.

Unfortunately, the service is not up to par. Well over an hour and still waiting. Calling over resulted in an apology, and being expected to wait longer while the delivery guy returns from his drop off. Can't comment on the food yet as it hasn't arrived, but can't order again with this type of disorganization. There are way too many places in NYC. Unfortunate.

This is the worst food place I have ordered from on seamlessweb. Not only was it a complete rip off ($13.50 for a tiny soggy brisket sandwich), but all of the food cam lukewarm and they forgot part of our order. It then took them an additional 30minutes (1.5 hours total) to deliver the item they forgot. Will never order from here again-- horrible.

when ordering a sandwich there is nothing put on the sandwich other than meat; should specify bc at most places for 14 bucks I can add some lettuce at least

We've order from here several times. The Romanian pastrami sandwich is consistently good. However, the order frequently takes 25-50% longer than the high end of estimated range given by seamless and the chicken noodle soup contains no chicken (only chicken flavored broth), which is ridiculous given the price of the soup.

Actually, the food was fine. The delivery was awful, taking over two hours, and then not including all items. Won't go here again.

The food was good but this place lost stars for service. It took over 75 minutes for my food to come. When I called after 50 minutes (they advertised 30-45), they said it had already left and would be here soon. When I called back 20 minutes later, they said they were having printer Problems and that they just received my order 5 minutes before l called and it was just sent out. She was not apologetic at all. Terrible customer service!

Good matzo ball soup. Pastrami and corned beef are not as good as the big name downtown delis, but still enjoyable.
