Azuki (8th Ave)

We have always found Azuki to have good service and excellent, fresh sushi and sashimi with generous proportions. We have been going to Azuki since their opening five or so years ago, and we have had dinner parties for 20-25 people catered by Azuki with excellent results and praise from our guests.

I order from here all the time. Their Tempura Lunch box is great so is their Beef Negimaki. Service is always nice. And if you actually go to the restaurant, it's a great place for lunches.

Not a good value. The menu says that the lunch sashimi is 10 pcs, but it doesn't say 10 tiny/miniscule/one-third of normal size pieces. The soy sauce was in packets and the wasabi was with the fish. So there was nothing in which to mix the soy sauce and wasabi.The salad was just iceberg lettuce (not even a piece of cucumer!) with the dressing in a small container UNDERNEATH the lettuce. You have to paw through your salad to get the dressing. I like their Katsu Don, but I'll not order their sushi again.

Delivery time was about 20 minutes more then it said, but I attibute that to the weather. The sushi itself is absolutely incredible, and well worth the wait! (Go with the Monster Roll if you like spicy tuna).
