Bab Al Yemen

Fantastic - simply fantastic. The bread is heavenly and oh-so good with some hummus or baba. Combo #2 is my favorite - a little chicken, a little lamb (both cooked perfectly) with some great rice and roasted veggies. Plus, the folks who work here are so nice. :)

The order did not arrive after an hour. I called the restaurant and they blamed Seamless for not being able to confirm the order. The person kept saying "It's not our fault. It's not our fault." No attempt was made to call me to let me know the order was experiencing a problem. I instructed the restaurant to cancel the order. Horrible experience.

I love this place!! The food is always exceptional, whether in the restaurant or delivered. I especially love the lamb segar, the agda samak, and the oven clay bread. And the staff are some of the nicest and down-to-earth people you will meet in this city. If you go to the their restaurant, they will voluntarily go over the entire menu with you. You can tell they put a lot of love into their food and into their restaurant. Not only that, they have this very caring and spiritual aura about them. I am not kidding! :-)

Quick delivery, clay oven bread was soft and crunchy, great with the lamb segar. the lamb could have been more tender, but the flavor was excellent; an explosion of spices. The lemonade is recommended, refreshing and tart with a burst of lemon zest.
