I love ordering baja. There have been a couple of occasions where it's been a little delayed or cold but that happens and they always fix the situation immediately with no hassle. pretty great service and food. the queso is the best!

I ordered from Baja Fresh a shrimp taco and a Baja burrito, which is billed by them as having "Monterey Jack cheese, guacamole & pico de gallo." I also ordered a side of mango salsa for my shrimp taco & added tomato to my burrito. 1) The food arrived stone cold, as if it just came out of the REFRIGERATOR, very unpleasant! I do realize that the Baja burrito does not contain "warm " food, but it certainly should be room temperature and not icy! The burrito was awful, had NOTHING on it but a lot of badly cooked onions & a smattering of shredded cheese, no beans or anything else. There were lots of tomatoes, which I had paid extra for. But there was NO GUACAMOLE!! The guacamole, which I love, was the whole reason I ordered that particular burrito. 2) The shrimp taco contained nothing but 4 small shrimp & was very dry, and I did NOT get the mango salsa I ordered for the taco for $1 extra. 3) The so-called salsa for the chips was awful, a brown sauce with no tomato or tang. 4) Minor thing, but icing on the cake, was that they sent only one tiny napkin, the size & consistency of a small Kleenex. So: I received NO guacamole on my guacamole burrito, the burrito was icy, the shrimp taco had nothing on it, and I did NOT receive the mango salsa I ordered. I called BF to let them know about these things. The woman who answered was rude and arrogant, began with, "I just came on my shift; it's not my responsibility," then "It's supposed to be cold." I finally asked for the manager. He was no better! Did not apologize or ask me what the problem was or how he could satisfy me; his first words were that I was wrong. He REFUSED to allow me to speak. I wasn't angry when I first called, just disappointed that I had such an awful meal & didn't get what I ordered. The mgr did everything wrong in the realm of customer srvc & the result was that I ended up angry, vowing never to order from them again. A coworker also got a bad order from them this week, spilled inside the bag & cold.

verify timing with Baja fresh when placing order. They do not take into consideration what the time is specified. Poor customer service.

I ordered the Mexicano chicken Burrito. The food arrived hot in less that 30 minutes. The ingredients were tasty and fresh. I will definitely order from this place again.

I AM FINDING A NEW MEXICAN DELIVERY RESTAURANT AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO DO THE SAME. This is the first time that I am compelled to give a review on Seamless. I have tried Baja Fresh three times now and each time it has gotten progressively worse. Extremely poor customer service. Extremely poor delivery service. The food being delivered cold. Ridiculous out of now where increases in price, not updated anywhere on Seamless. I am appalled that such a poor food establishment receiving consistently poor ratings still can be allowed to survive on Seamless. I am so pissed that I will be going out of my way to send this review to Seamless customer Service. Note to Baja Fresh: Do something about your poor quality service. There is nothing that is special or sets you apart from any other Mexican food restaurant within a 2 mile radius from your own restuarant in NYC.

It was delivered cold and had zero flavor. Yeah, it was fresh but they don't season anything so load up on the salsa.

First time I've ever been compelled to post a rating and I use seamless multiple times a week for years - this was just so bad. Delivery took over an hour (had to call and was informed, "just 5 more minutes" - order showed up 15 minutes later), was ice cold and wrong, when I called again, they were very nice and apologetic, and promised to send the correct order, and quickly - only took another 20 minutes this time, also wrong (looked like they filled the burrito with refuse from the countertop or floor - had a little bit of everything in it), and again cold, and completely inedible. I really hope I don't get food posioning from the bit I tried before cutting it open - called again, they apologized and said they'd refund my $$, we'll see if that actually happens. So disappointing - I used to love Baja Fresh growing up in So Cal - guess that's what happens when they open up in Times Square....should have known better.

I feel like singing: "Put a smile on ya face, make the world a better place" HA! I am like on the bring of death with the flu right now and this steak and shrimp bowl has done my health and mood JUSTICE. The spices and avocado are just so full of life and warmth and now I want to order another bowl for dinner. I love you Baja Fresh, that is all!

Tortilla soup is very good, burritos are ok. I've had the soup a few times - very filling for the price and tasty, all for less than 300 calories. I had both the chicken Baja and Diablo burritos, which unfortunately i didn't like much. I'd like to try the tacos next time. I recently had a poor experience with customer service, but my complaint was kindly followed up on by the manager. It's clear that they encourage quick and pleasant service.

Consistently Good Food... Don't have to ask for extra cheese, the quesodillas are loaded and the steak is well grilled. Pico de Gallo is chunky fresh and VERY Mild, but if you like Spicy they offer several that please.

Baja Fresh's enchilada style burrito is the closest to Tex-Mex I've found in NYC. I'm from Texas, and sometimes I crave melted cheese! Also, the churros here are delicious, even when delivered! They're twists, which is not traditional, but their softness and cinammon-sugary goodness is very traditional.

The food is decent (you get what you pay for), but the delivery time can be astronomical. Baja Fresh will estimate 30 - 45 minutes to deliver, and then take 90 - 120. If you want hot food delivered on time, don't order from here.

This whole order was a bit of a fiasco. I placed my order for an Ultimo burrito and queso fundido at almost exactly noon. At about 1:11, I called to let them know that I hadn't received my order and the guy on the phone asked that I wait another 5-10 minutes for my food to arrive, as they were extremely busy with the lunch hour deliveries, and to call back after that. About 20 minutes later, I called back and the guy promised he would remake and send out a new delivery just for me, and that it would be there as soon as possible. Fine by me. About 10 minutes after that, the first delivery guy arrives with my order, which had obviously been crushed under everyone else's in his bag. It had leaked and made a big mess, but whatever. I was starving at this point. The food wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot either, which I guess is to be expected since it had been sitting in an insulated bag for an hour and a half on its way over. The quantity of food was astounding, and I definitely feel like it was worth the money in that respect. However, the quality is debatable. The burrito was huge and pretty decent over all, they didn't skimp on the meat and the only downside was that the salsa verde and cotija cheese on top has congealed and dried out a bit in transit. Still tasty, though. On the other hand, the queso fundido was downright terrible. The cheese had separated and the whole container was sort of a gritty, watery, fatty mess. At first I attributed that to the loss of heat over the lengthy delivery time, but even when the second delivery guy arrived about a half hour after the first, the queso fundido was much hotter, but equally as unpalatable. One star goes to the burrito, and one goes to the guy on the phone who still managed pleasant customer service despite what must have been a stampede of complaints coming his way this afternoon. I don't know if I'd order from Baja Fresh again, but I'll be eating their food at least once more as I feel like throwing out the burrito from the second delivery would be a waste.
