Baja Fresh (Lexington)

I tried both the steak and chicken burritos, and each tasted anything but fresh. I'm not sure if it had been sitting out too long, was old, or if it was "augmented" with sawdust... either way it's a gamble I'm not going to take again.

Utterly RIDICULOUS how long Baja Fresh takes to deliver. I ordered my food around 12:30 and its just getting here NOW AT 2:30!! I'm fuming. I can't understand how and why it would take 2 hours to deliver a cup of soup and a taco to a location 4 blocks away. Not only was my food extremely late, my order was wrong and there were ingredients put in that I specifically asked not to include. Of course I still ate because I'm famished and am too busy run out and get something else. This has happened the past 2 times I've ordered from Baja and this will certainly be the last time I do. I seriously don't know why Baja Fresh even offers their services via seamless. They certainly don't have the training or capacity to run a restaurant.

Their delivery system is total crap. But Baja Fresh is a fast food chain that is pretty great. 75% of the time.

delivery guy couldn't speak english and he took too long to deliver. I had the baja burrito which made me vomit several times in the middle of the night. horrible choice by me. SKIP

I HIGHLY recommend you do NOT order through seamlessweb. If you want it delivered, order by phone. I have ordered twice over seamlessweb, and they got my order wrong twice. They obviously do not read the order carefully enough. Just my recommendation to order by phone so you know for sure that they will get your order correctly and know exactly what additions (e.g. extra salsa, etc.) you want included. Other than that, the food is subpar in terms of quality. Baja Fresh's quality of ingredients are not as great as they are on the west coast. Don't expect much when ordering the food, unless you happen to be craving/desperate for some baja fresh

I previously wrote a bad review of Baja fresh because of a sequence of missed or incomplete orders. However, since then the Baja staff have gone out of their way to make me feel that they are sincerely contrite and committed to giving their customers a quality ordering experience. The food has always been great.

Our order came warm and came fast (20 min versus EDT of 40-55 min)... everyone was pleased. Especially impressed with the chicken fajita platter... freshness and quality of ingredients.

This food was not as great as I expected. By the time I received my fajitas it was all one big sloppy mess and the beans were spilling out of the container into the bag. Honestly, I expected more from Baja Fresh.

I've become hooked on their chicken taquitos and shrimp tacos. Delivery can be a little slow and the food sometimes arrives jostled, but the tacos are easily reconstructed. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican, but Baja Fresh is an exception.

Good food - horrible packaging. Most of the time my baja salad arrives 3/4 in the plate and 1/4 spilled in the bag.

Baja Fresh really went out of their way to make things right from a previous order. Food arrived terrifically packaged and warm. Nachos were really super-sized and the tacos were also tasty. My favorite? Of all things: the churros. :)

Baja Fresh is great because it offers some creative options that you can't get at Chipotle and Qdoba (which I have overdosed on). My only complaint is that my burrito was not tightly wrapped, and the burrito juices leaked through the bottom before I was 1/2 way done.

Excellent Mexican food with fresh ingredients! Love this place! They had a lot of them in Vegas, and I missed them when I moved back East. So glad NYC has them now!!
