The food came 30 minutes before I asked for it (when I wasn't home) and the driver told me that he'd just throw it in the trash and then hung up on me. He eventually cam back around closer to the right time. The food was obviously not so hot. I love Banana Leaves, but won't be ordering it on Seamless anymore.

Grilled Salmon and rolls are solid. Nigiri sushi sold one piece at a time, however, is a RIP. Also be wary of fried foods, they end up a little mushy by the time it's delivered.

Decent sushi. Chinese options not great. Little flavor and a bit greasy. Would order gain but only for sushi. Came within delivery window.

Just ordered the vegetable hot pot and vegetarian dumplings and both were awesome. Caution: spicy is SPICY! My fiancé got the tom yum and chirashi and thought the sushi was okay but not enough food for the cost.

Love this place! Good variety and everything I've had has been good. They're very responsive to requests - to the point of calling to make sure they get it right. Love the Pad Thai and the crunchy Asian salad. Best of all, they deliver all the way to my door with a positive attitude.

The customer service is great and delivery is pretty fast. I always get the fried brown rice and I switch up on the side thingys like crab pancakes, shrimp dumpling and they have the best Hot and Sour soup. The delivery guys are patient because I'm usually working late and I've been know to venture from my desk. Once I return...I apologize and they are like it's ok we are still down stairs. The Sushi is awesome too!!

Thai iced tea was mostly ice and the tapioca balls were mushy. The pad Thai was dry and not flavorful at all. The bananas that were fried were definitely not fresh. Really an awful meal. I was hoping for something much better given the restaurant's high rating.

way too mediocre for the price. the sushi was either meh or gross. the other stuff was okay. they took a long time to get here. not going to order again. I don't think I'll get food poisoning, but I'm not ordering again.

The Malaysian dishes at this place are actually quite authentic. I've tried the Banana Leaves Rice, the Curry Laksa, Mee Goreng and Roti Canai. The only thing I didn't like is that the serving portions are small. Yes, the serving portion is probably appropriate in Malaysia, but for American $$, I would expect a bigger portion. That's why I'm deducting 1 star, otherwise, very tasty so far.

The sushi isn't bad (usually--someone in our party had a bad experience recently and that was our last time ordering from them), but there are too many decent sushi places in the area to warrant ordering from this place.

Banana Leaves has good food, but the value, especially when you consider that it is a Chinese restaurant, leaves something to be desired. Generally, leftovers are a given at a Chinese restaurant, large portions are just the norm. I got an order of dumplings and Kung Pao chicken figuring I would get dinner and a lunch out of it. No such luck. I give it the 4 stars because compared to the other terrible Chinese in this city, the food is pretty good. Just be prepared to pay.

It's hard to find palatable food in DC. It's especially hard to find good Asian food of any kind. My sister and I ordered with the low expectations we've come to develop in this city. We were both blown away by how absolutely delectable everything we ordered was. This is now one of our favorite restaurants.

Banana Leaves never disappoints! Delivered sushi is always fresh and delicious. Try the crab rangoon from the apps menu. Also, the spring rolls with pork in them are great too. YUM
