Bangkok Heights

Desperate for something yummy in my neighborhood, I tried this restaurant for the second time. The first time the food was old and cold. This time, it simply never came at all. After an hour, I called. They'd received my order, but couldn't find it. They were also pretty rude. I asked if they could give me an ETA and they put me on hold and never came back to my call. I don't get how anything stays in business in Washington Heights.

The noodles dishes (pad thai, pad kee mao are my favs) and the appetizers (spring rolls and curry puffs) are great. I've tried a couple of their curries and they are not good.. too soupy, low flavor, and small portions. Steer clear of the curries and this is great take out or dine in thai in Wash Heights!

While Delivery may sometimes take awhile, their food is consistently great. They listen to instructions well, and their Tom Yum is to die for!

I love this place. I always feel its under rated but everyone should know about this place and scream it from the rooftop! Delivery is quick and dine-in is always pleasant. Tasty and such a feast.

Yum. Order from here all the time, because I work really late and they're open pretty late. They always listen to my special instructions and are usually here in a timely matter. For this neighborhood on Seamless, this is one of your best bets.

It's too bad this is the only Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Not very authentic. Also took them 40 minutes to confirm the order and then another 40 minutes to deliver.

The quality and portion sizes have both gone down in the last few months (and prices have gone up). The last few times I've ordered the "mild" green papaya salad, it's been so incredibly spicy it's inedible (and I'm a girl who puts hot sauce on everything...this stuff, though, makes me physically hurt for awhile--I can't even describe the time I once ordered it "medium" instead of "mild"!). Update: I've also made the Thai iced tea mistake, twice now. I thought it was a fluke the first time, when I got a cup full of ice and a brown paper bag full of orange, sugary tea which then leaked all over the rest of my food and my floor, but when it happened a second time, I knew it was a trend. And reading these reviews confirms it. I'm still cleaning Thai Iced Tea off parts of my floor, and even found some on my cell phone. Know that if you order it, you WILL receive a bag full of tea with a cup full of ice and maybe two sips of tea that remain after the rest has spilled everywhere.

Great food, BUT we ordered on one occasion and didn't receive our food. Upon calling, we were told that they had no record of the order, even though we provided them with the Seamless order number from our confirmation email. We're freaking starving, and we're out $30!

I ordered a Thai Iced Tea with my meal. While I was thankful for the quick delivery at 11pm, I would have preferred the tea in the cup and not inside the bag the delivery came in. I had a cup filled to the top with ice and was able to get 4 sips of tea. What made it even more worse was not knowing the tea was everywhere inside the bag. When I pulled the food out, above the white throw carpet, orange tea spilled onto it. I then set the bag down. I had 3 messes to clean before I even sat down to eat at an already late night. I spent $2.50 for the tea and I tipped $3. $5.50 for nothing. Highly disappointed.

MMMmmmm got the Pad See Ew with beef and Pad Kee Mao pork - SO yummy and packed with so much flavor. Also, order came right on time for when I had requested it.
