Baoguette (East Village)

We’ve placed at least one order per week over the last 3-4 months and Baoguette continues to get the bulk of our orders wrong. I can’t seem to understand why. We order online because it gives the restaurant an easy to read order. Also, their 20-35 min delivery time is way off. Many times our food came well over an hour after we ordered….this on top of the food coming cold and stuff missing from the order makes it difficult for us to continue giving them our business. It's a shame because we did like the food. The younger girl that takes orders over the phone (i only know her because i find myself frequently calling to tell them they forgot to include something in the bag) should be fired.

Ordered on a Saturday evening rush hour. Obviously I was expecting delays. Got to speak with the cute lady over the phone and sent me tons of apologies. She promised the food would come within minutes, and it did arrive in the next 5 minutes. Food was still 'hot' and amazing!!! Cheers Baoguette!

Usually Baoguette has the best Banh Mi in town. Just wish this location was a bit more consistent.

I ordered the food, and it just never came. What makes it worse is that I try and call them to ask if they plan on ever making the delivery, and they just don't answer. Horrible service, stay away from this place!

Ordered an hour ago - still no food. Call after more than an hour - food was JUST sent out. Terrible speed. Delicious sandwiches but don't expect to get them within 20-30 mins. Sometimes I wish I could cancel my order.

I must be a glutton for punishment. every couple months i have a hankering for some vietnamese food and forget how horrible this guy's version of it is. i order and get a sandwich with mealy bread, overcooked and dry meats, hot sauce containers with almost NO SAUCE in them at all, limp/soft "grilled" pork chops with no char/browning, forgotten drink orders, and to top it all off, the delivery is almost always late despite how close i live to his various restaurants. NEVER AGAIN!

I order from here wayyy too often, but the sandwiches are soooo good. Specifically, the classic, pork chop, and sloppy bao. I also crave the Pho whenever I'm feeling a little sick, or in the wintertime. It may not be the best pho in the city - but still beats at least half the places in chinatown & it's delivered to your door!

I ordered the Bu n` Chicken and it lacked flavor and taste. Also, it was extremely cold (which I doubt it's supposed to be that way) so I threw it in a pan and add chicken broth and seasoning myself.
