Baoguette (West Village)

SO GOOD. But the $12 minimum is SO ANNOYING! It's difficult to meet, since all I usually want is the Baoguette (BEST thing). All the sides make the Total expensive and I don't even want them (Baoguette is filling!) and the only drink that meets the required minimum (after Baoguette + Tax) is Coconut Juice, which I don't even like. :( But still, 5 stars because it's so delicious.

I seriously can't get enough of the Classic Banh Mi Sandwich !!! SO yummy. And the delivery is seriously so fast (this might be because I live pretty close, but still). I used to love the summer rolls too, but recently when I order them they are pretty bland with too much lettuce and not enough shrimp. They dipping sauce that comes with is pretty good though. This is a go-to lunch favorite for me!

i ordered the Banh Mi Sandwich and it was good for the price. could use a little more meat, but felt the value was very good. i wish they had an option to add more meat for a couple more bucks. their shrimp wrap was good too. service was extrememly quick.

I'm kind of mixed up about this place. I really like Vietnamese sandwiches and they are decent here. The plus side: they have lots of fillings. The down side: lots of fillings makes for an uncomfortably too-large-to-eat sandwich. Coupled with hard over toasted bread, and you've got a gum cutter on your hands. The pho is decent here and the broth somewhat spot on but there's very little meat to the amount of noodles they provide. Bun (rice vermicelli) is one of my favorite things to order from here and if I'm craving Vietnamese and not wanting to go to Chinatown (Pho Bang or Xe Lua), I'll order this.
