A delicious hot dog is just the start; a full menu hints that the kitchen staff has solid chef experience. A pale hot dog arrives on a tray a few minutes after your order, very hot and comfortably poking out of its toasted bun. The color is a welcoming sight: it's not a nitrate storm like those you'll find nearly everywhere else. After letting it cool down a bit, the snap of the casing upon your bite is the second treat these dogs have in store. If you've purchased hot dogs or sausages from butchers, you'll know this sensation well. Then the flavor of the meat hits you, a taste of fresh pork and beef with a slight--but not overbearing--salty garlic spice. These links were custom made for Bark, so don't rush to wolf it down. Savor each bite and taste the effort that went into designing and making these unique dogs. The physical space is well-designed for lots of people without feeling crowded: long banquettes with seating on either side along with a few tables along one side provide ample space for your food and, if you wish, extras like laptops, books, and during one visit I spotted two people working out some kind of design on large sheets of paper. There's free WiFi and several outlets, but unlike a small café or coffee shop the clientele will frown upon squatters who aren't actively eating or drinking. Etiquette commands customers have priority. The only negative is the cost, which struck several friends as prohibitive. Compared with fast-food versions, which is an unfair comparison, Bark's hot dogs, toppings, and other food (except the inexpensive drinks, including beer) are priced at a premium. You get what you pay for, however, since the food is excellent and artisanal.

Eaten in and ordered for delivery many times. The food is very good. I usually get a kraut dog. I tried a kale salad the other day. Lots of dressing, but still very delicious. Fries are very good. Delivery often arrives a little cold but we live over a mile away. Definitely recommended.

Love Bark's food. Can take awhile to get here, and they have the occasional order snafu (forgot one item last time we ordered and it took an hour and a half to get it). Favorites are the cheese fries, chili cheese dog and the slaw dog. Chocolate milkshake is yummy but super rich.

Just thoroughly enjoyed the Veggie Burger and Veggie Hot Dog. Delivery came immediately, but it was 11pm on a weeknight so perhaps they weren't that busy. With the condiments and the sweet and sour onions topping, the Veggie burger was tasty and saucy and not dry and stale like most veggie burgers. Only problem was the cheese that came with the cheddar fries. It's super thick and doesn't taste good at all. That's the one thing I'll stay away from in the future.

Wow. Horrible. The hot dog was ok, but nothing special. The shake was good, but small and EXPENSIVE. The fries were not even cooked all the way, wobbly and all stuck together in one heap. The cheese sauce was disgusting and I am pretty sure it had sand or something in it. Basically threw $20 in the garbage with the rest of the meal (minus the shake)

My initial delivery experience with Bark many months ago wasn't so great. So, I wrote about it. I started walking there to get my dogs and burgers. I returned to delivery recently, and I am very pleased with the improvements in delivery. I really do enjoy Bark, and it's great to have a restaurant supporting organic foods in Brooklyn

First the good. The delivery was very quick, about 30 minutes. The hamburgers were fairly tasty. The bad though far outweighed the good. Don't let the seemingly reasonable prices on the burgers fool you, they are TINY. We also ordered some cheese fries and baked beans. The cheese fries were horrible. The fries themselves were soggy and there was no cheese on them. The cheese it turns out, was put on the side. That would have been fine, but this wasn't good cheese. It was similar to cheeze wiz or melted velveeta. The baked beans had some weird topping and were very over cooked. We had planned originally on ordering milk shakes as well, but at $7 for what it turns out aren't very big servings, we decided to pass. Overall, very disappointed. Maybe we should have stuck with the hot dogs.

I want to give this place a better review, but the last few orders (cheddar burger, twice and cheddar and bacon hot dog, with fries each time) have been soggy and bland. I've eaten at the restaurant, and that food is quite good, but given the time it takes for an order to arrive, the price and the quality when it does arrive, I can't recommend this as a delivery option.

I was excited to try Bark tonight because I've heard great things since moving to the neighborhood a few months ago. It was totally disappointing. After arriving 1 hour and 20 minutes after placing my order (which was actually just barely past the time limit provided, which is sad because I only live a quarter of a mile away and it doesn't take that long to make a hot dog), it was cold, soggy, and basically the consistency of a fast food meal. Flavors were mediocre at best, and general sloppiness of the items made me think this place just doesn't care about the quality of its product. The pickles are vile -- at least this batch was WAY past its prime. The fries showed promise but were cooked too long before consuming them to tell for sure. Maybe it's better when you eat there?

Really bad, bland hot dogs with mushy interiors and chewy casings. I will never, ever order from Bark again. I'd rather gnaw my own leg off.

Always good to brilliant, if you can get past the fact that you're eating a hot dog and paying a fortune! Look past that and just enjoy - it's excellent. The delivery people are great, really great and if it's during the week, you won't wait anything like the quoted time - average is 30-35 minutes.

They source all their products! Free range, organic, grass fed for a great price! Wow! And they have beer and they even have veggie friendly stuff like veggie dogs. Really excellent, would love to see more places with grass fed beef who are proud of the sources from which their products come.

I can't begin to tell you how disappointed we were in Bark. Initially we were excited to order, but that excitement quickly turned to anger when the food arrived. $6.50 for a hot dog that was no better than any you could get from Nathan's or a vendor on the street for a fraction of the cost. The food arrived cold. The french fries were soggy from being packaged while they were too hot, and the burger that we ordered was ridiculously small and just not very good. It seems as if the restaurant is elevating its prices to reflect the Park Slope neighborhood, but the food doesn't hold up to the ridiculous price tag! Never again!
