I LOVE Basera Indian Bistro! The food always has such great flavor. I've tried a few things on the menu and have been extremely pleased with all of them. Delivery is very fast, and the portions are big enough that I can usually make another meal out of the leftovers. The prices are reasonable (except for the $4 naan ...). This is definitely my favorite Indian restaurant.

Not the best Indian food I've had. We ordered the Paneer Makhani and the Chicken Makhani, and both were okay at first but went downhill after each bite. It could just be a Makhani issue, but I am in no rush to order from here again. Also, $4 for 2 small pieces of plain naan. Really?! We were really looking forward to an Indian food night and the quality of the food was disappointing. Hopefully their other dishes are better.

Tasty & timely. The Basera Daal was excellent, and (finally) when they say "spicy" they mean it. Just like home! The samosas were a bit heavy on the potato and tasted like grease, but the sauces that accompanied them were so delicious I ate it anyway.

I really do enjoy the lunch special from Basera... the portions are huge and tasty. However, the estimated delivery times are normally about half (30 minute estimate turns into TWO hours) the reality. Furthermore, when you call to look into the status of the order the staff is not helpful. For this reason I will no longer order from Basera, and suggest you take your business elsewhere as well.

Some of the worst Indian food. I ordered Chicken Biryani. The classic preparation will have succulent chicken and spices overflowing into the rice. The chicken was dry and the rice was flavorless ! Will never order from here again

Very impressed with the Chicken Tikka Masala. The sauce was amazing and truly spiced right with great flavor. The chicken was thoroughly cooked and I know it sounds silly but that's a big bonus too.! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I paid 4 bucks for a side of Naan! Hey we all love naan, and I don't regret getting it, but I was still a bit irked that it cost $4 (im used to paying at most 2 bucks for naan). BUT once again, of all the Indian places I've tried in this area the Sauce was the most delicious. Looking forward to trying some other things out.. *I should note it did take almost an hour for delivery. I didn't mind..was worth the wait...But If you are already hungry and in a rush..just bear that in mind. (Better to be surprised with an early delivery then what feels like a late one right?)

This place is awesome. We have tried many different Indian restaurants here in the city. Basera was the last place we tried. We have been ordering from them since. The tika masala has the right consistency and flavors that you would expect. Its all white meat chicken, which says alot! Many places say its white meat, but many give you dark fatty pieces of meat. The chicken tika dish is also a favorite of mine. Its all white meat chicken, well marinated, and never dry. The onion nan is amazing

One of the best Indian restaurants in Manhattan. Food comparable to the food you get in the restaurants in India. Their Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Saag is awesome.

The worst Indian food I've ever had. I wish I had read some of the other reviews before ordering. The chicken masala tastes like it was cooked in tomato sauce. The coconut soup was milk with some dry shredded coconut added at the end. The rice was good.
