BBQue's Smoke Shack

Like everyone said this place is awful. I have been waiting on my food for nearly two hours and it said it was 20-35 minutes. I will never buy from here again. What's the point in ordering a meal if they show up two hours later? Seamless should ensure they have more honest descriptions of the amount of time it takes.

Really a 3.5 star review. Decent but not so spectacular BBQ. The pulled pork (both platter and especially burger) are good. Ribs I got in a 3 meat platter were practically mummified (read: bad), and the waffle fries are okay but never as crispy as I expect them to be. timewise, I always show up within 10-15 minutes and my order has been ready already. (for estimated times of 10-15)

Ordered naked wings with sauce on the side and a coke. They said it would take 35 mintues to arrive, it took an hour. The Wings came with NO sauce and no soda. They said they would bring send it over right away... an hour later they didnt deliver so i called back and they were rude and said I have to be "more understanding" and it would take 3 more hours for them to bring me the sauce for my wings they didn't give me with my order. VERY SLOW BAD service and the food wasn't even that great, had to go buy my own sauce at the store. Never ordering from here again. Dont even think it deserves One star.

Food was stone cold and soggy-- not just "not hot," but cold with no heat left. It took 1.5 hours to deliver even though the email said "20-35 minutes." This may be decent food if it is warm, but it doesn't matter if the restaurant cannot deliver in a timely manner. I will not order again and suggest you don't either.

Firstly, I want to comment about the food. Other than the cole slaw, which was inedible, what I had was terrific. Based on that, I would have given 4 or 5 stars. But the experience was not great, I'm afraid. When the delivery approached twice the length that they estimated, I called them to see what the status was. The operator was rude and seemed annoyed that I was asking about that. She said the all deliveries were backed up and there is nothing she could do. No apology and no explanation. That's something I find intolerable. Then, when the order did finally arrive, 2 of the 3 sauces I had coming to me weren't included. We're talking BBQ here. It's all about the sauces. They have over a dozen of them. Without sauces, BBQ is a considerably diminished experience. The sauce I did get was great. But I was definitely annoyed. So to sum it up, very good food, lousy service. I'll probably give them another shot. But if I have similar issues, I'm going to move on.

Service terrible which is a shame, because the food is actually good here. I kept trying, but I'm finally giving up. Order usually came over an hour late (which means sometimes almost 2 hour delivery time). Food ALWAYS comes cold, even when it does come on time. My order has only been correct once and that was a time that it took OVER 2 hours to deliver. One time, they forgot the BBQ sauce which is pretty ridiculous considering it's apparently their specialty...

My chicken was delicious and delivered within 20 minutes of placing my order. Mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were legit, too. Collard greens were a little under seasoned but that is expected up here. Would definitely order again

So the food actually was great once I had heated it up again as it arrived cold... I had the three meat platter and the delivery guy stated he was the only one on delivery once he eventually arrived - he had been sent out with three deliveries and it took one hour & 15 minutes from the order acknowledgement... which suggested only a 25 to 35 minute wait. - Long wait, Cold Food - I wont bother ordering again.

Had a great meal. Everything was quite tasty and the price was great compared to some of the other BBQ places in the area. Delivery was fast too, within 30 minutes for 4 street and 2 avenue blocks during lunch hours. Recommend getting stuff with their Holy Habanero stuff, if you like a little zing.
