Benjamin Steakhouse

I order from time to time from Benjamins. I recently ordered herb crusted baked chicken which came to me cold (5 blocks away) and well overcooked. It was difficult to eat, as were the cold potatoes and vegetables. My suggestion is that you stick with steak, and get the microwave ready to warm up whatever you order.

We have been happy with Benjamins in the past, but the most recent time we ordered it was a huge disappointment. The to-go soup portions are much smaller than when dining in the restaurant yet the same price, and the classic lettuce wedge salad is a quarter of a head of plain iceberg lettuce with a 1 oz side of dressing, yet it's $9.95. We won't be ordering from Benjamins again. They have really slipped in quality.

This place is over priced and overrated. I ordered a well done burger with fries & onion rings. The burger smelled as if the meat wasn't fresh when it was cooked. The burger had a sour odor not char-grilled. The fries were just as well done as the burger! Onion rings were soggy and cut way too thin. How can a steakhouse completely mess up an American classic like a burger?! This restaurant gets a #FAIL. (Do yourself and your wallet a favor and order from Goodburger instead!)

The service is not reliable. The food can be good, but sometimes it seems they give u left over from the previous day. I ordered steamed broccoli with Salmon. 9 $ cost of for 4 steamed broccoli that looks like left over from the day before.

Consistently the best steak I have ever eaten. Arrives timely, juicy, full of flavor. Worth the money. Creamed spinach is to die for.

Ok, I work right next door to this place, which is beyond me why it took over an hour for them to deliver my food!!! Aghh!! I've order their food about 4 different times but for pick up since their delivery minimun is a little high, and the food is pretty good. However, I dont think they put that much effort on take out as I assume they do if you were to go eat at the reastaurant.

I got the onion soup and the burger, both were very overpriced for the low-quality. The soup was oily and the cheese was low-grade. The burger was ordered medium rare and showed up well done, dry and without flavour. The fries were limp, cold and uninspired. For the price, it was a huge rip off, I'd have done better at Wendy's.

Ordered on a sunday evening when it was probably quiet, but the steak was first class. I eat at many steakhouses and always thought a steak that is delivered could never be that good, but it tasted in the same league as a sirloin from Palms, Keens, Striphouse and I thought it was better than Sparks! Very quick too.

Delivery took forever. My ribeye was cold. The potatoes were cold. Not worth what I paid at all. They may be good for dining in, but not for delivery, but after that mediocre steak I won't be dining there either.

Benjamin's is one of the rarer breeds of restaurants, that CONSISTENTLY delivers high quality food, each and every time. I order dinner from them 2x a week minimally. The salads are always super fresh; the bread is awesome; and almost all the items on the menu are delectable. It's great for delivery, though I've never been inside the restaurant. On Valentine's Day, my guy and I stayed home because I was sick. We ordered a massive spread from their menu that was absolutely SUPERB ... and gave us more time to get to the fun stuff, rather than all the over hyped, overpriced, contrived, going out that occurs on that night everywhere! Though the prices seem a bit high for some things (4 shrimp in a shrimp cocktail is approx $17, and 6 are approx $23), the guarantee that the food will always be fresh & of high quality, makes it absolutely worth it!

UPDATE on my review: The manager called me and promised to re-send my order, which he did do. The Wedge Salad came smothered in delicious bacon (not bacon bits, but thick, juicy delicious chunks of bacon) and WOW, a gorgeous piece of cheesecake for dessert! THANK YOU!!!!
