Bistro New York (369 Lex)

I've ordered from Bistro about 5 times. 3 out of these 5 times, my food came over an hour and a half LATE. 2 out of these 5 times, I was given the wrong beverages. 60% hour-and-a-half-late percentage sucks... in my book, at least. A possibly refunded 6 dollars doesn't come close to making up for an extra hour of stomach growling. I'm hungry.

i really enjoy ordering breakfast/lunch from this place... they have very fresh sandwiches, yogurt, and salads... also it's affordable with reliable delivery services.

Food is decent but delivery always takes FOREVER. When you call to wonder where your order is, the staff is not helpful and sometimes rude.

Yeah, this place is pretty damn sub-par. Soup was watery, smoothie was watery, sandwich didn't have a whole lot to it or a whole lot going for it. Dude also took an hour to get to my building, even though they originally gave me an estimate of 10-25 minutes. Not the worst food ever, but I won't order from here again.

this place is god awful. delivery took over three hours in total. called twice after an hour and a half and 2 hours passed, they said it had been delivered when clearly it hadnt been. somewhat rude on the phone, not helpful. sent delivery out again, only to arrive cold and tasteless. will not be ordering from here again

I ordered an egg on a roll at 10:56 a.m. with a 10-25 minute delivery estimate. I called to ask where the food was at 11:45 and was told it went out "a long time ago." FINALLY, at 11:57, it arrived.

The food here is decent for lunch but they've gotten my order wrong 3 times now. One time I went in and ordered face to face to make sure they wouldn't get it wrong. The man I placed my order with went into the kitchen - I assumed to get something for it and did not return even after a couple of minutes. It turns out he completely forgot he had taken my order at all. I was one of two people in line and there were two people working behind the sandwich counter - it was not a high stress situation. I gave them a chance because I like their sandwiches and salads but I will not be back ever again due actually screwing up my order almost every time.

delivery was late and no effort was made to keep the item warm - turkey burger wrapped in wax sandwich paper = useless. Plus the delivery included an EMPTY, UN-ordered can of soda - the remains of which were all over the inside of the delivery bag and soaked one end of the sandwhich wrap and thus one end of the sandwich - YUK

The grilled vegetable wrap should be called a grilled pepper wrap. There were no other grill vegetables in the wrap, with the exception of a few small portobellos. There were no sundried tomatoes nor mozarella on the wrap that are listed on the menu. There was romaine and a couple of thinly sliced tomatoes included. The potato leek soup was good.

Delivery was super late. I waited over an hour for a measly bologna sandwich and a snapple. The deli is 2 blocks away from me, mind you and it was a glorious day out, so there's no excuse. I won't be ordering from there anymore.

I waited over an hour (granted it was snowing--but estimated delivery is 10-25 minutes) for a half empty salad container drenched in dressing. My soup was also wrong--unless their "Manhattan clam chowder" is vegetable soup. Ridiculous.

Food is tasty, but every time I order there, I end up waiting 10-15 minutes because they haven't prepared my order by the specified time. Example: Placed order at 11:50. Was told 5-10 minutes. Came at 12:05. Didn't leave with sandwich and soup until 12:20. They don't seem to fill the order until you show up. Kind of defeats the purpose, and ruins the rating: great food.
