Black Iris

i lived in the middle east. this is authentic in the worst way, some places in developing countries are great, some you're afraid to eat the meat and the only thing edible is the bread and the hummus. this was the case with black iris. the lamb wasn't grilled, more like fried, tasted gamey, as lamb can, but also like fish, which lamb shouldn't. the chicken? same story -- fishy, oh and also undercooked. the bread is great. the hummus? no flavor at all. save your money.

One of my favorite local eateries; Black Iris has a friendly staff and great food. I personally recommend the Labana app and Lambajin pitza.

Black Iris i one of my neighborhood favorites. I'm glad to see them finally make it to seamless web. I enjoy the falafel sandwich, pitzas, and hummus.

Love this place. The food is yummy, not life-changing, but it's consistent, reasonably priced, and arrives quickly. I've never had an order messed up in the past two years. My faves are the cold app platter, the falafel, and the green pitza (which may not be for everyone...it tastes very...herbal?)

They delivered the wrong item, and when I called, replied that they were "too busy" to fix it. Funny, they weren't too busy to take my order. After putting me on hold for five minutes, they then promised to send a delivery guy with the correct order, who never came.

Great mezze plate. Pitzzas are surprisingly good. Not a big fan of the sandwiches, but no real loss there. Super fast and friendly delivery.

This place is great. Delivery was exceptionally fast, food was delicious and very cheap for both the quality and quantity. The falafel sandwich is enormous and delicious and only $4.50, highly recommend. Everything tastes fresh, flavors are complex and just right. And again, a great bargain.
