More bun than burger. I ordered the black & blue burger. The burger was tiny and the bun was way too big for such a small burger. There was no seasoning on the burger & the bun was totally dry. It was supposed to be well done but there was a lot of pink. My boyfriend had the French Canadian burger with the foie gras which was practically nonexistent. Of course that was disappointing considering it was $18. We also ordered the loaded fries which are supposed to have bacon but that was nonexistent as well. Won't be ordering from them again.

I tried this place for the first time and ordered the Iron horse burger and the loaded fries. They were both very good and better than most burger delivery places in the area. I would definitely order from here again.

2nd best burger in LES. My order was submitted as they were closing and they still delivered it! Sometimes delivery may take a while, but the fries are amazing and the iron horse and other burgers (custom with jalopenos+jack cheese+mushrooms) are amazing. You have to try this place. Also they are real man burgers not tiny little ones

The iron hourse burger is double patty madness, I could eat 2 of these. The blue cheese for the chicken wings was not good at all.

Delicious. Got the Black and Blue, medium rare, and it actually arrived at my apartment medium rare. (This may have to do with the fact that i live right across the street, but still). I had bacon and jalepenos in it. So good! Fries were good too, peppered and salted. Well done, considering every other restaurant I've ordered from seem to have trouble with keeping the burgers pink.

Black iron makes some kick ass burgers... especially the black and blue burger. You can also sub turkey burgers for any of the specialty items if you're into that. Highly recommend the wedge salad... though the last time it wasn't packaged very well and looked like a hot mess when i opened it up. Burgers always arrive hot and cooked to order. Black iron is a solid choice for burgers in the EV.

Black Iron is great when you eat at the actual restaurant. Delivery is another story. My BLT had half cooked bacon and it was literally thrown together with mayo on the side and barely wrapped in foil. Also barely toasted soggy white bread. The fried tomatoes are awesome, however. Also took over 45 minutes at 3pm on a Saturday...they need to pull it together.

Burger was ok, kind of dry for a medium burger. The onion rings were okay tasting but in huge clumps and soggy.

A sloppy rip-off. I received a small soggy bag of cold fries, a soggy burger that was falling out of the tinfoil, a half filled cup of flat soda, and a 6$ 16 oz shake that was embarrassing. Awful experience all around. Will never order from here again

This is the best burger in the East Village, and possibly in Lower Manhattan. The beef is expertly spiced and of high quality, the fries are delicious, and all is served in a fast no-nonsense fashion by their delivery people. The only downside is that occasionally they are understaffed and delivery may take slightly longer than average, but the quality of the food outweighs that so far that I must still give this location 5 stars.

I live right by this place. I went a couple times. Ordered a burger "medium" and it was severely under-cooked. I was hungry so I just ate around the edges. The three times I've been there I've had an empty soda on the table while I ate that never got refilled unless I got someone's attention. They were always too busy sitting around talking and changing songs on their iPod to notice me. Also never move above their restaurant. They blast music 'til all hours, often early in the morning on weekdays. Bad service, average food, and inconsiderate to the neighborhood.

Don't order delivery. They have the worst packaging possible, the burger comes cold and likely soaked in the drink, the fries come damp. This is happened 3x for me. It would be great if they'd just figure out how to keep things warm and from spilling on each other.
