Blake & Todd

I have ordered from Blake & Todd a few times now. Each time the food has been consistently fresh and tasty! The delivery is fast. The only downside to them is the 10% delivery fee which you pay in addition to the tip for the delivery person.

they delivered an order a day early; the next day, the order was delivered but the salads were completely wilted, and in fact, we had to throw out several pieces of lettuce that were spoiled & black! totally unacceptable. we didn't unwrap the sandwiches & hoped they were OK for the clients. when i called Blake & Todd and spoke with the manger, she didn't even apologize. she kept saying "no" to everything i said -- "no" to the fact that they might have kept the order & served it the next day, "no" to the fact that the lettuce was wilted & blackened, etc. i suggested, nicely, that she ought to check with whoever prepared the order & she said she would "check the lettuce delivery." no reparation was offered & certainly she did not say what i wanted to hear: "we apologize, we appreciate your business, and i will look into it and make sure it doesn't happen again."

My food was 1 hour and 55 minutes late--this is after they confirmed 55 - 70 minutes on the confirmation. To boot they charge a 10% delivery fee on top of the customary tip. Then the delivery guy calls 5 minutes before getting to my building. I had forgotten why I had stopped ordering from Blake & Todd...well I was well reminded today.

Blake and Todd charges a delivery fee with each order and tipping is separate. Food is very good,but this extra fee seems excessive. I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the extraordinarily high cost of food delivery.

Never spectacular, but consistently good, Blake and Todd is a great option for lunch, dinner, or a late-night-at-the-office snack. Their daily pizza selections are generally very well made, and their soups are generally hearty and full-flavored. The packaging used by this restaurant often leaves a bit to be desired, however. Food does not stay as warm (or cold) as it should during the trip, and containers of liquids like soup sometimes are a bit soggy.

The food at this place is pretty good. But they really mess up in delivery times. We ordered over $200 worth of food gave a tip of 25 which excluded there delivery charge and the food still managed to arrive an hour after the expected delivery time. I called to ask where my food was and kept being informed they were backed up but after the third call asking for my food and hearing the same thing I lost my appetite. Sad to say but they have lost my company as a customer.

Delivery time is consistently over an hour, no matter what time I order and no matter the delivery estimate. Good food but not worth the delivery cost in addition to the tip given that the food arrives late.

Some of the food is great but today the delivery guy tore the perforated sides of the receipt on the floor in the hallway of my building. And this despite a $4 tip.

Food is good, but their delivery service sucks, and they are consistently late. By consistently, I mean every time. And not just 10 minutes. 20+ minutes every time.
