Blue Dog Kitchen Bar

I LOVE blue dog cafe. I order from here 3-4 times per week and am always pleased with my order. Fresh, quality ingredients are essential for me, so it's such a comfort having them so close by.

Took 1 hour for delivery of 2 smoothies and a coffee. The email said it would take 30-45 minutes. I live a few blocks away. Sorry, but that is just unacceptable. If you can't handle the delivery business, then please remove yourself from Seamless. Better yet, Seamless should kick them off for being incompetent. Now, I just realized they gave me Iced Tea instead of Iced Coffee. Wow, Blue Dog, you are pathetic!!!! Kick them off of Seamless. P.S. My wife just said her smoothie tastes like smushed up bananas.

Horrible Service. Had to call as it approached an hour and the guy who answered said it wasn't the restaurants fault to blame Seamless, they were stupid for putting 30-45 minutes as a time. The Tarragon Chicken Salad was very, very dry and the bread was chewy and stale. The Mint Green tea was watery (of course as it arrived iceless an hour after ordering). Having just moved to NYC from DC it's obvious that the City has many restaurants that are amazing and many that are horrible and few that are in-between. This dog is a loser and shouldn't be in the kitchen. I had high hopes, but don't do it. You'll regret it.

This is my second time eating Blue Dog sandwiches and I haven't been particularly impressed either time. Food is very dry and lacking in taste. I threw out half of my turkey and brie because I just couldn't finish it.

I wish I had taken the warnings to heart about the insane waits for food to be delivered. I also can't believe this place gets 5 stars on average! For those who predict hunger 3 hours in advance, Blue Dog's delivery seems reasonable. For all other normal people, order elsewhere.

the food here is healthy and the juices are great. but the customer service is bad and not accomidating when it's their bad. they are usually out of multiple items on the menu which may make them just cancel your order outright. so regardless of the quality of food, it's hard to eat it when it doesn't show up. we are now going from eating Blue Dog 3 times a week to never. we've had it.

I love the quality and freshness of all the food at Blue Dog and I've tried a lot of the salads and cold sandwiches. The tarragon chicken is the best chicken salad EVER, EVER, EVER. Only one sandwich didn't do it for me and that was the portabello, pesto. It was too gooey cheesey and mushy. But that might be because it was through delivery and not eaten at Blue Dog.

Maybe the food is fine, but I ordered 90 minutes ago and have yet to see my food. At this point, the food better be the absolute most amazing thing I've ever ate to justify anything higher than one star.

I would give no starts if possible. Hands down the worst wrap I have ever gotten in my life (roast beef). They also sent the wrong chips and no straw for my soda. Don't order from here.

ordered this at 10 am. ordered PB + J which is probably the easiest thing to make, and they sent me banana and nutella. I called right away to get a replacement sent out, and it's now 12:30 and still not here.

I love Bluedog! I order from them at least once a week and I've never had a problem with either the service or them getting my order right. Fresh, tasty and fast has been my experience.
