BonChon (Second Avenue)

I placed my order at 7pm - it arrived at 9pm! BY FAR longest I've ever waited for a seamless order! This is the 2nd time I've ordered from BonChon with the same result. I will never order again. They should not be allowed to be on this site. Food takes way to long to arrive & is cold! DO NOT ORDER BONCHON!

The wings here seem to be quite greasy compared to the other Bon Chons around the city. And don't go for the dduk buki because they don't cook their rice cake well enough, it's still hard as hell and the sauce is really off, not your authentic korean style sauce, it has a smokey bbq flavor to it and too much mozzarella cheese. If you do get it though, make sure to ask for no onions because that's what they usually load you up on, lots of onions and not much rice cake or fish cake.

BonChon chicken is the BEST! Both flavors are delicious but the spicy is definitely hot! Their veggies are delicious too. You can't go wrong ordering BonChon!

I had some bad luck with phone order right after this location opened, but, despite some of the bad experiences listed here, have tried Bon Chon twice in the last few weeks around lunchtime and have had a fine performance with delivery. Everyone knows the wings are great. I'll stick with it.

I've loved eating a BonChon ever since I moved to NYC. I feared their delivery wouldn't live up to that given all the negative reviews here, but I've tried it multiple times and it's still always great. Their lunch special rice isn't perfect, but that's about it as far as criticism goes. I highly recommend their signature chicken wings (get them boneless, and try both soy and spicy).

This is the most annoying restaurant I have dealt with on Seamless. Food took 1.5 hours to be delivered - cold. They add on a can of coke with each order which is hidden and you don't get to confirm if you want it. How is that even legal?

Think expensive fast food that takes an hour to deliver. I ordered the crab Rangoon app and the burger. The CR came in what looked like a McDonald's happy meal box. They were way over cooked and had very little cream cheese in them. They were crabby but were just too dry. The dipping sauce was just like McDonald's sweet and sour sauce, so it was disgusting. How you mess up deep fried cream cheese is beyond me. The fries were bootleg McDonald fries. The burger was meh. But since it cost $14 I pretended it was good. I took a star away for every McDonalds comparison.

I ordered the Korean Tacos and Kimchi. The Tacos were cold and the shell fell apart. Portion was also pretty small for $12.50. Also I ordered the kimchi which was again a very small portion for $5 but I got part of the hard stump of the cabbage. So overall pretty let down I guess I need to find somewhere else to order Korean food from

The food is good, but nowhere near as good as it is when served in the restaurant. They've been having some trouble with their deliverypeople recently. Normally, they delivered within the time promised, but the last two times food took well over an hour to deliver, and yesterday evening it took nearly two hours. The restaurant was very apologetic when I called, which I appreciated, but I'd suggest getting takeout, not delivery.

For a place that specializes in fried food, I was super disappointed. I would think they would know how to package fried food by now. First, I ordered the fried calamari. Portion was extremely small and not cooked thoroughly. The food was swimming in grease in the food box, no crispiness whatsoever. I also ordered Dukbokki...it was mediocre but the portion was reasonable. This is my 3rd time ordering from this place and I will never order anything fried from here ever again. I know a lot of people complained about the delivery time but for all 3 orders, I received my food within the time-frame promised.
