Bread & Company (425 Madison)

I ordered a salad and split pea soup. The salad arrived wilted and warm. The soup arrived thin and luke warm. In addition, 50% of my order was wrong. I would NEVER order from this company again.

Food was good. My salad order is slightly different than what I asked for but not ridiculous for me to call and complain. And the delivery was extremely quick, but I'm not far.

Food is fantastic. I think most of the negative ratings are due to delivery. I work nearby and it has never been an issue.

Rude they sent a note to order from the other location next time because its closer. Why do they deliver here then?

terrible delivery delays, one time they did not even deliver the order (took them 1.5 hours to figure this out), the other time they gave it to someone else in the building. would not recommned the place.

They are always disorganized and late with delivery. Never update their estimated delivery time but instead keep at constant 15-30min even though it take them 75min to deliver. Unprofessional!!!!

I ordered a salad, I added avocado for extra charge of $1.00 and they literally gave me 2 pieces of avocado. The dressing was not sealed and it spilled all over inside the bag. I have ordered a couple of times from them and they're salad portions are not generous.

Good food but worst delivery and rudest person on the phone. Waited well over an hour for soup and the guy who answered the phone told me 5 more minutes both times I called even though they were 20 minutes a part. Then he yelled at me and said he doesn't have enough delivery guys so it will get there when it gets there and hung up.

Quick delivery. However, often aren't accurate with orders. Spinach salads rarely have spinach, and usually have lettuce. Also, regular tomatoes are often used instead of grape tomatoes in salads. Asked for a Rigatoni pasta salad with red pepper sauce, but received a tortellini salad with an italian dressing. Not major issues, but mistakes nonetheless.

Really awful. First, they got my order wrong, then they brought the new order, and it was still wrong! Even worse, the food tasted horrible. I would never go back, ever.

My Italian Tuna Arugula Salad came with mesclun instead of argulua. I hate mesclun. My salad was ruined. If I wanted mesclun, I would have ordered it. I hate unannounced substitutions. Otherwise, the food was good. Soup was cold.
