Bread Factory Cafe (42nd/9th)

They didn't have what I wanted, so instead of calling to ask what I would like instead Bread Factory took it upon themselves to just send other food. Had to call Seamless for a refund after they did not come to pick up the food I didn't order after 2 hours. Beware of random food.

The food is pretty good, but they're always out of everything. To their credit, they will call you to find out if, instead of pita or wheat roll, you'd just take white bread, and instead of a breakfast wrap you'd take a blueberry croissant.

Forgot to include salad dressing with the 'create your own salads'. We had ordered two salads both dressings on side and no dressing was included or the bread that was supposed to come with it as well. Really disappointing to eat a completely dry salad.

Bread Factory is a staple for us on the weekends for breakfast and 8/10 times they get our order right. Their food is fresh and delicious and they deliver fast, I just wish they honored special requests better.

Used the wrong bread and the grilled chicken didn't look like chicken. I threw the whole sandwich in the trash. Had problems with a previous order as well. Will not be ordering from them again.

They have the best sweet tooth hang over options here! Banana Chocolate Almond Crepe is amazing as well as the Cigar dessert and Canoli dessert. For healthier eating they can custom make eggs anyway you like them with added veggies and selection of cheese as well healthy bread options. They also have a really great vanilla yogurt parfait here with granola and a few sliced strawberries on the top, very good.

I order an egg sandwich and a salad. The sandwich is served on two slices of bread that are about half the size of my palm (and stale). Every ingredient in the salad was so thoroughly brown and oxidized that the only thing I could stomach were the croutons (which were also not good, just edible). I contemplated calling and asking for something else to be sent out that wasn't disgusting, but figured that there would just be spit and God-knows-what in it.

The manager argued with me and would not replace my meal when he made a mistake on the delivery. I ordered an Italian salad with tuna, and he sent me a sandwich with chips. He claimed that the issue was with Seamlessweb. I clearly ordered from the salad section on Seamlessweb and have my receipt. The salad request asked whether or not I wanted the dressing on the side or mixed in. I chose to have it on the side. You'd think the manager would be able to figure out that I wouldn't want that on a sandwich with chips! Nonetheless, I will never order from the Bread Factory again.

Nothing spectacular that makes you go "WOW, that is FANTASTIC!"..But Bread Factory is good, it has a wide selection of items to please everyone, and out of the 30+ times I've ordered delivery from them, they've never once been late and the food is ALWAYS hot (if it's supposed to be). I couldn't recommend them more - go for it!

Recommend the Four Seasons Egg White omelette... Tastes great and great price... Nice change from the everyday corner deli breakfast sandwich. Always do pickup given type of food ordered.

Excellent delivery restaurant. They accommodate you even if they don't have what you ordered! The food is delicious! Too bad I live in Queens. I only order when I work overnight in Manhattan! Love the fact that its open 24 hours! Regina

Ordered 5-7 times. AND CAN OFFICIALLY SAY - - - THIS IS WORST PLACE EVER. Terrible crepes with too much sugar syrop. Terrible delivery who brings you total mess instead of food. NOT eatable. NOT even 1 star. Someone close this place.

Ordered one sandwich. Delivery estimate said 15-30 minutes. Took over 90 mins to get here. When calling, whoever answers the phone was wholly unhelpful / clueless and just a straight up liar. When the food did get here, it tasted absolutely awful.
