Bread

The food at Bread is good but they have TWICE now messed up my order. Sorry, Bread. Two strikes and you're out.

I"m going to preface this and say that Bread is my favorite Italian restaurant in Soho. That being said, the delivery is absolutely inedible and horribly awful. Today, when I I ordered chicken milanese, avocado salad, and eggplant parmesan. The salad came warm, and the eggplant came cool. Neither were extraordinarily appetizing but I ate this regardless. The chicken is why I feel so strongly about writing a review. My chicken milanese came (I kid you not) BLACK, COLD, and completely INEDIBLE. I couldn't even run my fork and knife through it to cut it, much less chew it. Literally cardboard. Burnt, cold, and looked like it had been in that plastic box for a few days. Horrible. You have lost me, Bread. The absolutely worst delivery I have ever received in my life.

Lentil soup was pretty darn salty.But, the bread was awesome—which is fitting! I asked for the lemon dressing that went on my sandwich to be on the side, but instead they gave me a side salad that I didn’t order and put the dressing to that on the side. The salad I didn’t order was old and slimy. Probably not ordering from here again.

This was the first and last time, ordering from Bread. After waiting 50 minutes for delivery, the lasagna was cold, and the chicken sandwich was slimy on the inside with bread that was so hard I thought I was going to crack my teeth trying to bite it. Really unpleasant, and not cheap, either.

Always a great meal! the salads are so filling and delicious. Avocado Salad is a fave as well as the Special Salad. You really cant go wrong with any of the sandwiches either. Top pick for me is the Aged Salame Sandwich that we endearingly call the stinky foot sandwich. The BREAD Tomato Soup is fantastic addition to any meal

This is one of our favorite new places on seamless. The order arrived prompt and still hot. The soup bowl was awesome. French fries were disappointing because they were soggy but the meatballs and homebaked bread made up for it

unbelievable. i live literally three blocks from Bread and it took them over an hour to deliver a miserable 12 dollar sandwich (that got here cold obviously) and 7 dollar fruit salad. not getting food from them any more

So, I ordered the fried calamari and a chocolate mouse. I love calamari; so I like to try out the calamari in new restaurants to get a feel. I got a good feeling from Bread :). The calamari were golden, crispy, and were absolutely delicious. The chocolate mousse I ordered was very, very good as well. I went to pick up the order rather than have it delivered, which turned out fine. The only complaint I would have is that the wait was longer than 20 minutes for a pick up. But the employees made up for that. They offered me a glass of water while I waited as well as a chair rather than me standing in the middle of an aisle looking around aimlessly as I waited. The ambience, from what I saw, looked very pleasing and intimate. I would definitely order again from them, and possible go and dine in the restaurant!

Ordered brunch from here. Everything was good, but nothing special, so I think its overpriced for what you are getting.

Food is delicious, the problem is when I recently placed an order that was never processed. After waiting two hours for breakfast I called the restaurant and was told that I never submitted the final order. When I read the emailed confirmation number to him I was told "oh, it was never processed here, I apologize." I was asked if I wanted it processed now or not and I said no. Sure enough, the credit card was charged anyway. Called back 2 days later once the pending charge did go through to ask for a refund. Was told that it would take 2 days and gave my name and number because a manager would call me. 3 days later and no refund or phone call. Called the restaurant again to ask for a manger and was told none were available. When I asked when one might be was told "Oh, I'm not sure, none are here." When I asked when will come in I was told "sometimes they come in the evening." When I asked if there was a specific time I was told, "No, sometimes they come in around 5:00 or 6:00." I finally had to ask for the name of a person to talk to. What kind of business allows someone with answers like that to pick up the phone?!

I only ever order three things from here, eggplant parm, calamari, and the meatballs. They are the best I've found from a restaurant that delivers.

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH ORDER. FOOD TOOKE 1 HOUR AND 50 MINUTES TO ARRIVE. WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN.
