I am looking for an indian restaurant that has quality food, delivers, and has an A inspection rating. somehow all the indian restaurants have terrible nyc inspection laws. too my surprise and delight bricklane curry house had a decent score and so i order last night, samosa's, chicken tikka marsala, plain naan, and rice... rice was ok everything else was... what a let down.

Arrived an hour late, ice cold, and twice as much money as it should be. It's simply not worth it. Try any of the other Indian places in the area, they are all better and more reliable, unless you like cold curry, cold rice and cold bread.

The food from Bricklane is very good...if you ever receive it. Twice I've ordered from Bricklane and it takes at least double the time they allotted to receive the food. The last time I ordered (January 2012) they didn't even get my order correct after being 25 minutes late (in the 20-45 minute window), and did nothing about it. I tired them again in January 2013, and I'm sorry to say they were significantly late again. I'm not trying again. Sorry Bricklane, your food is really good, but your delivery service is terrible.

the food here is quite good - worth 4.5 stars in my opinion. ive ordered many items on the menu and have been pleased each time with the quality and taste of the dishes. HOWEVER, it is a complete and utter RIP OFF. For $20, i'd expect to get more than 4 one-inch cubes of lamb in my curry. Additionally, the rice that comes with your entree is now a comically small portion - it's not even half an adult serving. Rice is cheap and considered "filler" - if you're going to shortchange customers on the protein, at least give us a generous amount of rice!. really wish this place would get their act together.

Absolutely terrible! The Chicken Tikka Masala was overly sweet, had no ferungreek at all, was extremely watery. It tasted more like Ragu pasta sauce than a curry. The Onion Bhajis were dry, uninspired and bland. The rice portion is microscopic, and was undercooked to the point of being hard. I've had bad curry in my days, this is the worst. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The appetizers were delicious, but my Vegetable Tandoori was very disappointing. I've had Vegetable Tandoori before, but this was big chunks of vegetables in a disappointing sauce. The vegetable were soggy and overcooked, whole pieces of mushroom, bell pepper and onion. My boyfriend got the Tandoori Chicken and said it was also bad. Delivery time was fine. The Korma Curry my friend ordered also seemed fine, not super, but good enough. I was just so disappointed with the Vegetable Tandoori that I will probably never order from them again. It was that bad. Their other dishes might be ok. Stay away from Tandoori!

The food is good but the Goan fish curry is not as phenomenal as it used to be. And we requested all dishes as "medium spicy" but they were milder than mild. What happened to you Brick Lane?

It is nice to have choices beyond the usual bland Palak Paneer! Their curries are well-executed. Good value.

Portions were very small for the price. Chicken tikka masala curry dish was all sauce with only a few pieces of chicken (chicken was fairly dry). Naan serving was also small. Food was cold when it arrived. I won't order here again - I can get more for my money at a better quality elsewhere!

The food was good, but delivery took over an hour and was cold. I had to reheat curry in microwave and the could not eat the roti. They need to work on delivery if I am going to re-order

AWFUL! I am from Bricklane in London, this was bad. I ordered a chicken curry and got beef. There were five SMALL pieces of beef each of which were mostly bone. The rest were HUGE slices of onion and pepper, too big to eat. The packaging was wasteful (everything had a thick plastic tub of its own) and some of it was open and all over the bag when it arrived.

I used to love ordering their chicken tikka masala. Up until a few years ago, when they cut their serving of basmati rice. For every entree, you get half the portion of basmati rice, then what they you used to serve you. Come on, being that your dishes are a bit overpriced, can't you be generous with your rice serving? Wahhh-wahhhh:-(
