Brooklyn Diner

Single worst delivery ordering experience in 3 years of nightly ordering while living in NYC. Terrible customer service, forgot items, items included undercooked chicken, overpriced, smallest portions. Overall terrible delivery.

I work in just a few blocks from Times Square, so it's often pretty hard to find good food at a reasonable price in that area, most things are simply tourist traps. Brooklyn Diner isn't really an exception, the prices are pretty high and it lures tourists in with its promise of authentic diner food. However, this restaurant actually fulfills its promise. The food here is amazing, the sizes are enormous, and even though it's a bit pricier than I want to spend on an average lunch, it's no more expensive than Katz Deli but the ambiance (and service) is way better. Make sure you try their Strawberry Blonde Cheesecake. It's life changing and large, so it can be shared with, I think, 3 people. If you order hot food, however, be prepared to reheat!

Got order wrong - TWICE. I gave up after the second try. In addition to getting the wrong order, I ordered bowl of soup and got half a bowl of soup. While calling to tell them my entree was completely wrong (the first time), I asked why the soup bowl was only half full and the person said that is the "standard" serving size. It was about 5 spoonfuls. Overpriced and food did not taste good and they couldn't get my order correct after two tries. Also, this is the only diner that I've ever heard of that does not have American cheese. Would not go back.

I just want to say that I order from Brooklyn Diner quite often and they have an excellent burger and mashed potatoes and their delivery service is professional, speedy and courteous. Give them 5 stars out of 5! They are an excellent member of Seamless Web. They should be the model for all other restaurants.
