This is not the best bbq place in the world, but definitely suffices when we have a bbq craving and it's very close to where we live. The fried chicken is pretty good, I have to say. I've gotten ribs here-usually with the dry rub. It all definitely hits the spot. It arrives quickly and tastes good. Can't complain!

could be great if management cared about the product that gets sent out. I've ordered multiple times and usually there is something done poorly, done incorrectly, or missing. Management argues when contacted. Bad service. This time was the last straw. Won't be ordering from them again. Wrap was half the size normally, the shrimp in the popcorn shrimp were unclean and the batter tasted as if they had been fried in old oil (which is something restaurants do to save money - so stupid). Change the management!

Very disappointed and I feel ripped off. I ordered the skirt steak and hand cut french fries. The meal was over $24 with tax and tip, and not only did I get OLD french fry remnants from the bottom of the fryer, but I didn't even get skirt steak. I was delivered FLANK steak NOT skirt steak . Additionally. the portion size for the price was ridiculous. $20.00+ for less than 8 oz. of underseasoned flank steak and old french fries?? I will NEVER order from here again. I have repeatedly been disappointed with small portions, old food and cold food. NEVER AGAIN!

Order arrived super fast and everything was correct. I got the pulled pork dinner which was good by NYC standards. Sweet tea was good although it has a very slight lemon flavor.

1. Do not try and order food for a time in the future. They will prepare and send it on it's way as soon as the order comes in. So on the plus side, they're prompt. On the negative side, they obviously don't play close attention to the order 2. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER order "soul/southern" food from any restaurant south of 79th St. It just doesn't work. This is a pathetic attempt a rich, decadent, soul food, that clearly fails because it's not cooked from the heart and soul it's dished out by people following online recipes from canned ingrdients. 3. The Sweet potatoes are nothing but canned yams served in their own can juice. As soon as I tasted them I immediately put them in a small sautee pan with a pad of butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and actually "candied" them like they should have done. After that they were half way decent. 4. The fried chicken dinner was blah. Although frying chicken would seem to be a fairly easy task they seem to have it about 50% right. There's something to be said for a simple flour batter, seasoning, and a scolding hot tub of oil. Anything more or less than that is just foolish. 5. Overall this place was pretty disappointing. I can't think of a reason I would order from here again. I could just as soon get fried chicken and sides from the local deli, for much cheaper.
