Great vegetarian place. I'm pretty sure their veggie meat comes from May Wah in Chinatown which is pretty good. I've found their Kung Pao Chicken is my favorite so far on the menu despite it being less pricey than others. Quick, very friendly delivery service as well. My only gripe is that I wish they had at least a couple vegetarian but non-vegan items (tofu cheesecake is as good as it can be, but it's still tofu cheesecake)

Best Asian food in NYC - especially if you are a vegetarian. My carnivorous girlfriend even prefers this place to most other Asian restaurants and the lo mein is excellent. We have tried a lot of the menu and it is superb. A great interpretation of Asian food. Delivery is great and so is the restaurant.

Obviously this place is terrific for vegetarians, but my meat-eating friends have found things they really like here as well. The BBQ Meat is my favorite here along with the Spicy Laksa Noodle Soup. A few other things I've tried are hit or miss, but overall this is a great place.

Healthy, good vegan/vegetarian food. Wish the menu was labeled better for items containing egg or dairy but I knew ahead of time as I had eaten in restaurant before. BBQ "pork" fried rice is amazing!

The Buddha Bodai delivery guy is always smiling when he gets to my office, and it's no coincidence that I'm always smiling when he gets there too! Buddha Bodai is a delicious, healthier (morally and physically) choice for lunch or dinner if you're in Chinatown. Check out the mock lamb curry.

Well it is 1:14, and I placed this order at 12:02PM. The website said 15-30 minutes and it's been over an hour and still nothing. On the phone with restaurant and they are refusing to cancel order. I'm starving and now annoyed!!!

This is seriously my favorite vegetarian restaurant. I ate there when it first opened and I'll eat it till I die. The baked pork buns are amazing and this is coming from a flexitarian!

Fantastic vegetarian fake-meat Chinese food. A lot of dishes are fried, but you can find plenty that are not or order dishes steamed instead. Reasonably priced, good sized portions, and good food keep us coming back.

It's rare to find a vegetarian chinese restaurant in chinatown, so I've really enjoyed their take out. I don't often have a craving for greasy food, but when I do - this is the place I go it. It's just too bad they don't have Cold Sesame noodles. Great taste, great prices.

Great for vegetarian "meat" options! The lamb and chicken dishes are particularly good.

If I were rating Buddha Bodai based purely on the food, I would give it five stars; the food is delicious. But right now I am staring at $17 worth of food that fits in a lunch sized container and I am not happy. If you order from them, stick to lunch specials; $6.95 for fake meat, rice, and your choice of a side. I loved the Sesame Veg. Chicken so much I decided to order it in entree size today with a pint of brown rice; the entree I received barely filled up half of the lunch sized conatiner. I poured the rice in the same container and it was still far from being full. I called to complain that I had just spent $17 for less food than comes in the $6.95 lunch special and was told that it just "looks smaller." Also, don't believe the 15-30 min delivery time; sometimes it can take them ten, twenty, thirty minutes to confirm your seamless web order on top of delivery time, so figure that in to your lunch break. Poor customer service means I can only give this place one star.

HUGE MENU of vegetarian options that taste great and mimic authentic Chinese dishes. Prices are good - not great for Chinese food. Service is very quick for pick up.

Delicious vegetarian fare that even the most die-hard carnivore would appreciate. Excellent menu with a wide range of choices.
