Bukhara (49th Street)

My normal Indian place was closed so I tried Bukhara, was very pleasantly surprised. Really delicious, generous portions, fast delivery. I think I am switching! Coffee is not the best.

Being a vegetarian, Bukhara Grill came highly recommended for [traditional] North Indian fare. I ordered two curry dishes (Palak Ke Kofte, Dal Kabila) and couple of breads for 2. The food was absolutely great. It was delivered within 30 minutes and was piping hot...just served and saw the food vanish. I have ate at the restaurant several times, and can say all the visits, including the delivery, have been very consistent.

Had a wonderful experience dining in here. So went for delivery, and was thoroughly disappointed. Do not order before dinner time. I felt like it was food from the afternoon. Dal Bukhara was too salty, and the kababs werent up to the mark. Id still say good for dine in, bad for delivery. 2 stars.

Bukhara is consistently one of the best indian restaurants in midtown. Palak Paneer and Palak ke Kofta are two of their best veggie options. Delivery, however is sub-par and often takes an hour in the evening.

Awful, waited over an hour for the food which never showed up. I called the restaurant which was closed at this point.. I reached out to seamless and they got in touch with someone at the restaurant and they could not verify where the order was. This is unacceptable and I will not order from here again

order goat curry, which was full of sharp shards of bones. Plus, they used the worst possible meat of the animal. Absolutely outrageous. Worst meal I have ever had. Avoid at all cost.

A bit pricier than other neighborhood Indian places, but the food is quite good. I'm writing this review mainly because the delivery I received was missing my order of garlic naan and after calling the restaurant I promptly received a delivery of the bread. Well done!

I ordered a sharabi kababi and a lamb seekh. Delivery was a tiny bit late but the food was still hot, so all is forgiven. The lamb seekh was a little spicy - not enough to be uncomfortable, but enough to give it a nice kick. The sharabi kababi was out of this world! I'm normally not a chicken fan, and despise white meat with a passion, but I devoured every piece of this, including the pieces that were white meat. Knocking off one star just because the food wouldn't have been as great without the included sauces, but they didn't really include enough sauce for the amount of food I got.

The WORST delivery time EVER. They promise 20-35 minutes but it took 1.5 hr for the food to get here. When you call them they have no excuses.

Do not trust the delivery time estimate these guys give you. 20--35 estimate and now, I was still waiting after 60 minutes! Then delivery guy calls me and tells me I need to come down to lobby to get food. Every other delivery guy comes directly to office. Not ordering from here again.

the food is good and delivery is on time :) just I could not understand what they are tallking about in the phone, but service is nice :) Great restaurant.

Don't order your food from here if you want to get it within the promised timeframe. Its says 20 minutes, and though I ordered more than 80 minutes ago, my food is still not here. Restaurant told be they left a long time ago - guess my food is going to be pretty cold.
