Bushwick Pita Palace

I love the reviewers that come on here expecting a restaurant named Bushwick Pita Palace to have great mexican food. If you want mexican food there are a number of choices in this neighborhood, so go there. If you want quality middle eastern food go here. Quick delivery, decent prices, large selection, generous portions. I order from them all the time and am never disappointed.

Food was dry. When delivered, they had forgotten the pitas. I called to ask them to bring by and when they did, they just gave me a bag of pitas that I could have purchased at a corner store. That was really disappointing. Will not be ordering again.

my roommate LOVES the burritos from this place, so i decided to follow suit and order the same one night. the burrito wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. the beef was kind of bland, but still edible. i probably won't order this again, but i know my roommate will! the delivery time was on point (and we live relatively far from this place)-- no complaints there!

I don't know what the people who are giving this place one star are ordering, but it sounds pretty bad from what they're describing. I always and only order the catfish burrito, which is always awesome. The lady gets some other kind of burrito and she has never hated it either. Yeah, it's not like "real" Mexican food. We all know that doesn't exist anywhere north of Oklahoma (even that's a stretch), so stop hoping you're going to get it in New York. Call it a "wrap" instead of a burrito and you'll be happier probably. I have recommended this place to other people, but they must have ordered the wrong thing too because it gave them rumbly guts.

No matter how detailed my notes are as to how I want my food, they never make it right. No Peppers No Onions and there is nothing but onions and peppers inside. Gave this place two chances, but I'm done, although despite their habit of not following instruction and actually reading the orders, the food is pretty good. If only they would pay attention they'd have 4 stars.

I don't know why my roommates and I took so long to learn from our mistake of ordering here, but we did a few times... I guess we were hoping that there was a great Mexican-style food restaurant in the area. However. The enchilada I just got? I'm not sure what this was. It was a tortilla so dry it cracked lengthwise when I put my fork into it, it was covered in decent vegan cheese, but there was this slimy green substance on top. There were little white spots that looked like mold, but we discovered they were seeds of some kind. Was this the chili sauce? Disgusting. The vegan meat was good, but what they did to it was horrendous - I don't know how it's possible, but it was dry inside the tortilla. The beans always taste bland, like how I'd imagine cardboard tastes. The sauce looks like it should be good, but it's almost entirely flavorless. The rice has a horrible aftertaste. The vegan sour cream is gritty. The nachos are a pile of chips with some cheese on top, so after you eat the first layer, there's just chips and nothing else. Twice - not once (again... why didn't we learn??) - they put real chicken in a vegan meal and somewhat regularly put dairy cheese or sour cream on a vegan dish. The french fries are also kind of dry, while still being oily. I guess I was brought to my senses with this enchilada. They even forget things and totally ignore special requests. I guess it's a good thing, but they're freaky fast. I am starting to put 2 and 2 together to figure out that this is related to the quality of food. Please learn from our mistake(s). We're idiots. Do not order here. They're not even cheap enough to make the quality somewhat acceptable. I am lamenting my wasted dollars.

Speedy delivery, food's pretty tasty. Not the best falafel, though, but it hits the spot when you're craving it. I second that they do not read your options requests, which is a little disappointing. Overall though, when you're lazy and want some some grub, this place is pretty solid.

The chicken shwarma sandwich is filled with really fresh veggies and shwarma sauce. Very tasty all 6 times I've ordered it. Nachos are good too. Burrito didn't do much for me though. Sometimes they are out of coca cola and substitute for pepsi without calling. Usually delivery is way under the order window.

I love the huge menu. Everything has been solid -- nothing incredible, but definitely good variety and filling! Their Mexican food section (burritos) mimic LA burrito's menu pretty well, but a bit cheaper! Definitely was a late-night delivery staple when I lived in range.

We order from them a lot. They're pretty reliably quick and the food is almost always good. Occasionally they've forgotten little things. Several times they've run out of certain items that are still listed on the menu (desserts, corn on the cob). Otherwise, they're usually a good value.

The food is always good, the delivery is always fast. My only problem is the cheeseburger is supposed to come with jalepenos. First time i ordered it it had one. So the next time I ordered it I asked for extra jalepenos and the burger had zero jalepenos. Other than that this place is great.
