Butter Lane Cupcakes

These are hands down the best cupcakes in New York City. Which is a pretty big place, if I'm reading these population statistics correctly. I went on a limb and asked if they could write a personal note for my friend's order, and they did. Top notch.

I ordered the cupcakes the day before, so that there would be enough time for them to place and make the order. Unfortunately, my order still arrived 40 minutes late. The cupcakes were for my 2 year old's birthday part in class. The party had to be rescheduled until later in the afternoon because of the delay in receiving the treats. The cupcakes them selves were pretty good, but not work the effort of having to change all of the plans.

Love the cupcakes. LOVE. Great flavors. The $15 delivery fee seems excessive when you're ordering 12+, but I suppose the cupcake market in NYC is just that tight.

Cupcake Friday was a success! This was the 2nd time ordering, and this time everything was PERFECT (including the special orders). My only complaint is that I wish they would change the options on Seamless to match their seasonal items. Nex time, I will call before taking orders. All of my co-workers were thrilled with the cupcakes' flavor and presentation. Extra kudos for the well-packaged cupcakes in their special carrier. They even threw in an extra cupcake, for which my boss recieved with much excitement. The missing star is for the 1st order I placed in January 2012: it was on a Monday, and I ordered about 40 cupcakes- they came a bit disorganized, and we were missing several of the flavors (non-seasonal) that I had requested. They were still much-loved, but the second order was much better in my opinion. We will definitely be keeping up with Cupcake Fridays thanks to Butter Lane!

The cupcakes are insanely good but be warned that they estimated delivery at 2 hours and took 3 hours to deliver. We needed the cupcakes for a birthday celebration - they were a big hit!

Beautiful cupcakes with unique flavors. Got them delivered to my office before I had to catch a train out of town. They traveled well and were quickly devoured upon arrival.

Had the banana with Chocolate Salted Carmel. It was pretty amazing. Def better than Crumbs and Baked by Melissa and the sorts. Love the fact that they offer two different types of butter cream frosting.

I ordered from butter lane and was very excited to get my cupcakes...Unfortunately, three hours after I ordered them they still had not arrived. When I called Butter Lane directly I was told they are understaffed and don't know how to work the Seamless Web orders. Now I have to figure out how to get my money back and how to get cupcakes for my party. Not happy

As a cupcake afficianado, I can confidently say that these are the BEST cupcakes I've ever had. Every flavor is amazing, I prefer vanilla cake, but am crazy about their chocolate cake and icings! You cannot go wrong with any combo, the banana cake with the cream cheese frosting is to die for, and I love the vanilla cake with raspberry icing. The French buttercreams are by far my favorite, I have tried every flavor as their cakes are moist without being heavy and overly sweet. RUN to Butter Lane if you are a true cupcake lover!
