Cafe 41 and Pizzeria

I so wanted to give Cafe 41 5 stars! They made a super fresh, perfect Healthy Heart fresh squeezed juice that was surprising in it's well-balanced blend and well-processed fruits and vegetables. I also ordered a Cheese Calzone and that's where the slight problems were. The calzone was exceptionally cheesy and had a good amount of ricotta in the mix, which I loved; it also had a nice, fresh dough. However the dough was a little bland and, horror of horrors, they didn't include sauce for the calzone! With that much cheese, it was almost inedible without sauce. That also means I probably have to pay for it as a side, but that wasn't made clear on the menu. As a consummate calzone orderer, that was the 5 star deal breaker. All that being said, I will definitely order here again, fully aware that I am probably going to have to order the sauce as a side and be a bit perturbed by that.

I've been ordering from this place since they were Cafe Health Exchange and it's very good. The portions are very generous and the food itself is solid. I've ordered both the coconut chicken and the salmon entrees countless times, and the salads are huge (I like Thai Chicken). Great value for what you're paying, fast delivery, all around great place.

SO MUCH FOOD for the $, definitely will order again - good too. Bread was included as well as a salad. I didn't even need to order the soup with the meal. Had enough for left overs the next day for lunch too just with the Chicken and Pasta alone.

Took way too long to deliver. I called: "They said it's the weather." Yeah, there's a slight wind out there today. It's called winter in NY. I ordered my food at 7:37pm. It's about 8:30pm. Still nothing 50 mins later. Not sure when my friggin food will get here. Delivery guy called me at 8:18pm saying he's 2 minutes away. I waited for 10 mins in front of my building. No show yet. If they offered a comp, or s'thing extra I might've given them another shot. Will never order from here again for sure.

Food is not bad... if you are lucky enough to get what you order. Ordered on 1/3/13 a roll with Italian Pesto (mozzarella, roasted pepper, pesto). Got a soaked wet baguette, with tomatoes and mozzarella... Good luck with your order. For me, they are on my blacklist.

Delivery was pretty fast. I ordered the Thai lettuce wrap which was pretty good. Would probably ask for a side of sauce next time because I couldn't really taste it. But it came with a complimentary side of soup which was a delicious surprise!

Great for many reasons: (1) Food is extremely high quality (just try a macro salad or a fresh juice); (2) Cooked things taste great; (3) Big on quantities and quality for the money you pay; (4) Large selection of items; (5) You get it fast (close to 20 minutes in my experience); and (6) Customer service is friendly and efficient. Conclusion: I'm seriously picky and I've been ordering from them for over a year, they really have never let me down. Recommend it 100%!

They serve Hale & Hearty soups for cheaper than Hale & Hearty (how do they do that?) and their salads are GINORMOUS!!! And delicious. A "normal" salad down here is 1/3 the size and $3-5 more. Delivery was superquick (under 20 mins). No complaints! Thai chicken salad and french onion cheddar soup was great!

Delicious and exactly what I wanted. Typical cobb salad with all the toppings and delicious corn chowder. Was HUGE though. Only finished half of both and had a whole lunch the next day. Salad literally could have fed 3-4 people.
