Cafe Au Bon Gout

definitely the best deli in the area. Usually doesn't arrive under an hour but the food is consistent. Big portions, cooked well and a lot of flavour. And it's not overpriced like most vendors online. My only complaint is that they don't list their AMAZING soup online!

Ordered their house ramen soup (beef broth, soy sauce, noodles, egg and vegetables) and got spicy water, with scrambled egg and an overcooked yolk with noodles and scallions. Waited 40 minutes for the wrong order. Shouldn't call it ramen if it's clearly not!

I'd rate it zero stars if I could. The guy delivers the wrong order to, refuses to correct it, and also refuses to give me a refund. Never again.

The menu items in seamless are inaccurate. They have a bunch of stuff in the store not in seamless (e.g. different brands of sorbet), so In the past I have historically entered an order and put a request for the change in the special instructions. One time during the day I went in and spoke to someone about it, and it was fine. However, the "night" crew really does not read special instructions. I have ordered MANY times, and the service is continually past like 6pm spotty. It really is hit-or-miss if they bother reading at all. Only order during the day!

Ordered a ramen, no big whoop. Noodles and vegetables were extremely overcooked, almost mush. I haven't eaten anything else here, but since noodles and broth isn't that complicated and they managed to do so badly, I doubt I would order from here again.

Bibimbap is huge.. this is the best deal if you like a ton of different ingredients. Service is quite fast. Wraps are soso, ramen is soso. Overall I like them!

I have a special place in my heart for Cafe Au Bon Gout. When I don't know what I want, but know that I'm hungry and want it fast, I can always turn to Au Bon Gout's menu and find something that seems appealing. Their French toast (available 24 hours!) is great, as is their extra crispy bacon. For lunch I love the curried chicken salad pita. It's delicious and comes loaded with lettuce, tomato and avocado. I was pleasantly surprised to find that their extra-moist carrot cake and super-creamy cheesecake is better than some I've had at gourmet restaurants and bakeries. Prices are great, they always get my order correctly, and the food arrives well-packed and usually in around 20 minutes. If you need a quart of milk or some paper towels, they're happy to send those along too. Thanks, Cafe Au Bon Gout!

You know the food here is good. The Bul Go Gi Bi Bim Bop was awesome! The fried chicken platter was great. But why only three stars then? They always seem to screw up something in the order. The bring the wrong thing, or flat out forget something. I call them, the girls says she'll mention it to the manager, but nothing gets fixed. I type in instructions in the spaces provided but no body reads them!! Does anyone read the comments in Seamless Web's order forms? Aargh!!

STAY AWAY! This place is terrible! Ordered from them today and got a confirm from Seamless in my inbox. An hour later I call wondering where my food was. They cancelled the order because it was "too far" (10 blocks in Manhattan). They never notified me or Seamlessweb. What a joke.
