Cafe Buon Gusto in Brooklyn is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been too. Their food is always fresh. They serve delicious ciabatta bread. My personal favorite is their homemade spinach ravioli with the marinara sauce. All their homemade pasta's are delicious and so are their sauces!! You must try everything on the menu! Their salads are amazing too. I would recommend the pear and gorgonzola salad. You must eat at this restaurant. You will regret it if you don't!

I was really disappointed with my order from Cafe Buon Gusto. My eggplant parmigiana was cold, and I think the eggplant had been grilled until it was burnt. The side of pasta was also cold and stuck together and not very appetizing to the eye or or the tastebuds. The only highlight of the meal was the iced tea, which arrived cold (noticing a trend?). I'm going to try to find another Italian delivery place near me because Cafe Buon Gusto was overall pretty terrible, unfortunately.

We have ordered from Buon Gusto several times now, and every time the food has been excellent! They are in the same price range as any higher-end Italian, but their quality makes it worth it. Handmade pastas are really good, and their focaccia is completely addictive! Delivery has been prompt and our orders are always correct as well.

Delivery was said to be between 30-45min. Ordered my food at 8:17PM and did not receive food until 10PM. Completely unacceptable! After an hour I called the restaurant, the manager said it was on its way, I call 30min after my original call and she says it's still on its way. I get there may be problems with delivery people, but no phone call to let me know if the problems is just awful customer service. And the food, was cold, not lukewarm, cold like it was sitting out for hours. And on top of that the desert was not included in my original order. All around awful experience. Originally the manager offered a free desert to make up for the trouble. Are you kidding me? Then it turned into 30% off my next order (why in the world would I ever order from you guys again). Lastly after enough complaining she offered a refund. Seriously that should have been the first option. I. WILL. NEVER. ORDER. FROM. HERE. AGAIN.

We ordered 2 lunch Prix-Fixe meals. Delivery was prompt and the food was hot. Food quality was approaching awful. The Chicken Masala and Eggplant Parmesean tasted like cheap microwave meals; pasta sauce was bland; 'soup of the day' had very little flavor and felt like yesterday's kitchen leavings. "Garlic bread" was..ugh. Ceasar salad was ok. The Masala was the real low point- I love a good chicken masala, but this one was almost inedible. Funky mushrooms, weak sauce, soggy breading, bland chicken... No thanks. The desserts were good! Cheese Cake and Almond Chocolate Cake were quite tasty.

Ordered through the restaurant week deal for me and 3 coworkers. The food that arrived was only so-so. They forgot 1 entree and 2 salads. Then they took over minutes to bring me replacement food (which one would think should just be cooked and ready, and even if not they're less than 5 blocks away). Once the replacement food did arrive, the salad looked like someone just took a limited fistful of lettuce and threw it into a tupperware and shook way too much cheese on top. One might think it's tough to screw up only 4 orders made through a delivery site (where it's all there in black and white) but they managed. Certainly won't be ordering from them when the whole department does lunch, and I won't be ordering from them when I do lunch again either.

It has always annoyed me that the photo this restaurant uses for Seamless shows seared tuna – an item you can not find on the menu. WTH? Why not show Kung Pao chicken too? One day I decided to search their menu for seared items and I landed on 2 (neither was tuna). So I gave the “Emiliano” a try with red snapper. While there was nothing “seared” about it, that was my one and only complaint. The fish portion was large, plump and moist. It was served over a moderate amount of sautéed spinach in a light tomato broth. Very Delicious and Healthy. A bit of a splurge for lunch at $19, but worth it with a referral coupon or on a 15% discount day ($16). BTW - You have to actively click on the option to receive utensils. My delivery was quite fast. But I hit them before the big 1:00 rush.

The delivery was 20 minutes late. The food is cold. There are 13 pieces in this nearly $13 ravioli dish. That's a dollar a piece. what a rip off! That's insane. Also, they didn't include fork, knife, or napkin. never again.

This place is hit or miss. We tend to go with the same order every time, so it's really easy to compare the quality from one order to the next. Today we did something different and both decided to order the gnocchi fra diavolo. We knew it was a risk because if it sucked, BOTH of our meals would suck. But then if it was awesome, we'd wish we had two. Sadly it sucked. We actually ended up throwing it away, bye bye $20!

I've enjoyed the food here for some years now, and tonight was the first time they ever sent over a faulty order. I'm pleased to say that when I called them to get it corrected, I got a polite woman who told me they'd correct it and send it by ASAP, which is what happened. I appreciate that.

This is the second time I've ordered from them and it is the same problem. Why am I paying for stuff and getting half of what i paid for. Also, dont get the panini's, their definition of panini i three small bite sized sandwiches and a bunch of salad to fill up the container. Thanks assholes.

Delicious Caprese salad! I had the homemade ravioli with vodka sauce and it was really good. Not great, but really good. I'm picky about my Italian food as an Italian-American who cooks, and I'd order from here again, definitely, although I'd like to try something else on the menu because the vodka ravioli wasn't at the level of being a go-to dish for me.

DO NOT ORDER DESSERT FROM THESE PEOPLE. I ordered a piece of cheesecake ($5.95) and the most pathetic little piece of cake came. When I called the restaurant, the waiter who answered the phone was very rude. I could hear him cursing under his breath. I will never go to this restaurant again.

CBG offers standard food at a decent price. The service was on time (30-40 minutes) and the order accurate. I did not care for the bread--a crusty Italian, French, sourdough or peasant bread would have been better, and butter would have been nice. But I didn't order bread, I ordered Chicken Parm and Ziti and they were good. The Ziti was al dente and they did include a generous container of grated Parmesan cheese. As a single person I appreciate the low $10 minimum order amount.
