Cafe Guy & Gallard

Ordered from this restaurant based on the excellent reviews. They forgot to bring half the order and the food they did bring was freezing cold when it arrived. The delivery guy assured me they would be back in 7 - 10 minutes with the rest of my order. He apologized and then went on to say it wasn't his fault (very reassuring). It's now been two hours (and several more calls to the restaurant) and still the remainder of my order has not arrived. Dinner ruined...thank you Cafe Guy & Gallard...I will never order from your restaurant again.

I love this place. Where else can you get a decent piece of fish (and there are several interesting options) along with two side dishes with a price tag of $10-13? Whenever I order from Cafe Guy & Gallard, I believe I'm getting a tasty and healthy meal. I've eaten a number of their entrees and have been pleased every time.

I think the food is pretty mediocre. It is not bad, just nothing special. I do a lot of business travel and have tried a couple of dishes from Cafe Guy & Gallard. The prices are reasonable so for the value is good. You could do much worse.

Not happy with their delivery service at the moment. They take quite a long time. I work in the building right next to this Guy & Gallard. The first time I ordered breakfast, they came just at the 25-40 minute time lapse was to expire. Today ordered again and this time, they took almost an hour when it was only supposed to again take 25-40 minutes. On top of that, my pancakes were cold. I had meetings or I would have just gone down in person. I called both times when they were late and all they said was that they were on their way. Lesson learned. I shall not order delivery from them for a while. They obviously don't like serving the building next to them in a timely matter. I also prefer hot food if I order hot food. I'll save myself some tip money next time.

I thought these guys only did coffee, but now I believe the French can handle bagels too. Bravo to lox and cream cheese!

Food was decent but delivery time took 1.5 hours for breakfast. So food was cold when it arrived. The delivery guy was lost apparently for 45 mins. This is for a delivery to an office building in Midtown on numbered streets. They nicely offered to redo meal and redeliver but this took an additional 45 mins. Order only if you expect to be hungry 2hrs in the future.

Egs Benedict was amazing. My mouth is full of the last bite and I had to give this review right away. I've been ordering from these guys for some time not and everything was great 4-5 starts but this breakfast dish just made me decide. Thank You

THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST SERVICE!!! ...All but one of the item was correct. It's as if they just send you whatever they feel like. Also, this restaurant had a 20% discount when I placed the order and they tried to adjust the total by printing out their own receipt and not the one from seamless for me to sign. When I adjusted the total to what the total should have been.... The delivery guy would not leave and gave me a nasty attitude. It was my first time ordering from this place and never would I order from them again. Very disappointing.

I ordered delivery for lunch. simple tuna salad and chips. They took and hour to get here, when the order form said it should take 25-40 min. When the guy got here, he called me so I went down to the lobby. It took 10 min to find him. When I opened the bag, the chips were not the ones I ordered. I wanted soy chips, they sent me vicky's. The tuna wrap was decent. Next time I'll stick to the coffee at G & G.

I really love these guys. Best french toast I have ever had. The breakfast burritos are also great. Great food quality in general.

i ordered a breakfast burrito 1.5 hours ago and its still not here. i called the restaurant 30 minutes ago and she said she was waiting for the delivery guy to come and pick it up aka i was going to have to wait for awhile even though the order was place an hour ago. this better be the best burrito of my life.

The food was really good. Especially the chicken dumping soup! However, first the delivery guy forgot to bring my tea which I didn't realize until after he'd left. But he came back a little while later (without my calling to complain) and apologized for the error. But they also gave me the wrong vitaminwater. I ordered a zero calorie VitaminWater and got a full calorie one of a different flavor. In sum: The food is very good but make sure you check your order before the delivery guy leaves. If they messed something up I'm sure they'll be happy to fix it.

Yummy, yummy. The mushroom lasagne was perfect comfort food (felt very comfortable afterwards). Delivered promply, nice delivery guy, well packaged, well presented. Not your average dinner fodder, much better. Definitely order again, maybe in about 10 minutes..........

I've always enjoyed the food from Guy and Gallard, but I would recommend eating in the restaurant during the day, rather than ordering in the evening, as I did. The delivery was prompt and the delivery person was friendly, but the food tasted as if it hadn't been freshly prepared. It seemed to have been prepared earlier in the day and simply heated up. By all means, stop by G&G earlier in the day when the food has just been prepared, but I wouldn't recommend ordering in the evening.
