I was raised on middle eastern food cooked authentically by my father who grew up in Egypt... and let me just tell you, these guys, they do it right. Love cafe Rakka!

Ordered the Rakka platter + some vine leaves. I was in the mood to have a little bit of everything, and all of it was great. The falafel was really crispy, although it was a little salty. I'd probably opt for a different combination next time so the overall experience isn't so vinegary. But I'll definitely order again.

Some of the best Middle Eastern food in the E Vil. Creamy, nutty hummus and crisp, well-seasoned falafel anchor a menu of authentic, fresh, vegetarian-friendly salads, the best of which include the tangy/creamy foul moudamous. Not sure what happened to the wonderfully tomato-y moussaka (no bechamel here!), but i desperately hope they bring it back. In addition to reliably tasty grub, the service is fast, friendly, and courteous. Rakka makes one of my favorite meals in my favorite 'hood.

Rakka is cheap, delicious and generous. A must-try for anyone who's into Middle Eastern cuisine a step-up from the Halal cart.

Ordered a Greek salad from here last night and it was pretty gross. Had a creamy Italian dressing on it not a balsamic or Taziki. I also got the feta dip which was indelible. I ate what I could if the salad and today was pretty sick. Not extreme food poisoning but def a version of it.

I ordered the falafel lunch special and the lentil soup. The food was cheap and came within the specified delivery time and that was the only redeemable quality. However, the fries arrived cold and soggy and almost like plastic. Even after reheating them in the oven they were inedible. I ordered a whole wheat pita with my soup, and got white. The bread was good, but the soup was just ok and I would not order it again. The falafel sandwich was also terrible. The falafel was hard and overcooked, and it came in a wheat tortilla and in nothing that resembled a pita. I ended up tossing it after a few bites it was that tasteless and bad. Won't be ordering from here again simply because of the quality. I guess you get what you pay for!

You get a lot of food for your money here. The sandwiches are excellent, and are made the way a sandwich should be - stuffed with meat. I order from here at least 3 times a week they always here in reasonable amount of time. The Shawarma is awesome.

delivery was as stated - no complaints there. The hummus was lacking oomph. Babaganoush was just ok. The shwarma tasted good but good have been warmer but I think i was a little farther away from the restaurant to expect a super hot delivery. All in all...eh.

First of all, delivery was VERY FAST!!! The estimated delivery time was 45-60 minutes, and my meal arrived in about 15! Very impressive. Also, the food was delicious. The falafel was still (literally) steaming hot when it arrived, and was flavorful, and crispy, and very fresh tasting. I also ordered baklava, which was a much larger piece than I expected, and it tastes homemade. All around, a great meal. I'm very satisfied with the whole experience!
