Awful food. Penne alla vodka was gummy and tasteless. The penne with tomato sauce was even worse. The chicken buon gusto was bland as well. Stay away.

I had the chicken parmigiana. Delish!! The linguine w/ alfredo sauce was some of the best ever! I will definitely order from Cafe Buon Gusto again!

i've been to b-gusto before and it's cute and fun but this review is for delivery service. pasta rarely delivers well. it would be great if someone could figure out how to make pasta deliver without losing quality. so, taking that into consideration, i think buon gusto is great versus its peers and at it's price point. they are usually pretty flexible in terms of off-menu requests. the bolognese will not blow you away, but it's still pretty good. if you're looking for a cheaper option, you can find good deals.

The red sauce might have been pure tomato paste with no seasoning, which made the chicken parm and ziti unappetizing. THe surprizing part is I've eaten at the the restaurant before and was very happy with the food and service. So I'm hoping this was just an off not but will probably not chance delivery for them again since it was also cold by the time it reached me.

Ordered at 8:40 with a 30-45 minute delivery time. At 10:00, i called and with no apology, they told me it would be another 5 minutes. Ten minutes later, an hour and a half after i ordered, the food arrived - ICE COLD.

My food came really fast, and was so hot I actually had to let it cool down before I started eating. Normally, delivery food only ends up arriving warm, at best. I ordered fettucini alfredo, which was absolutely delicious. A bit pricey for just grown-up mac and cheese, but since I was so happy with the taste and delivery service I can't really complain!

Delivery time indicated 30-40 mins. Food was delivered ice cold an hour and 20 minutes later after I placed two calls to check on our order. I've enjoyed their food for years, but the recent deliveries have taken far too long....just not worth the wait.

I ordered steamed mussels in white wine sauce that tasted fine. However, the tortellini soup was 100% inedible. The smell, the broth, the pasta... so gross. It went right into the garbage. Really disappointed.

This place is hit or miss. The Vodka sauce is good, I ordered mine with sausage and mushroom's and it was really pretty good. I've also tried their Alfredo and like other user's stated, it's good. The Tiramisu is different, but decent. However, I wasn't too fond of their Eggplant Parmigiana...it's not what you're expecting..not breaded, fried, then baked.. it's actually a healthier version of the one my mom taught me to make.. the eggplant isn't breaded, it's sliced and baked with cheese, sauce and etc. It's good, but wasn't what I was craving. It was actually slimy, which if you're a texture person.. don't order it. Then, I ordered Spaghetti & Meatballs and it was terrible. The sauce was more carrots * big carrots and had no marinara flavor, the meatballs were terrible... no spice or flavor. The cheesecake was awful.. homemade, but no flavor.. I won't make that mistake again.. I took a few bites to try it and threw it in the trash. There are much better places in the neighborhood.

I will never order from them. I waited over an hour even though my confirmation said 30-45 minutes, and when the food still wasn't here I called the restaurant. They claimed the food had just left. I called 20 minutes later when it still wasn't here and they said it had not left yet because the food never got made. They weren't even that apologetic. I just canceled the order at that point.

A neighborhood Italian that's typically good but sometimes inconsistent. I often order Linguini Vongole and find that there are times when it has the perfect balance of garlic and white wine, but other times the garlic is overpowering or undetectable. When it's good, it's pretty darn good.
